Legend has it that this mountain is the embroidered shoes that the fairy fell into the lake, hence the name Shoe Mountain. Shoe Mountain is surrounded by turquoise waters and cliffs on three sides, and only the northwest corner can be used to moor boats. Echoing with the small lonely mountain in the Yangtze River, the shoe mountain is even more arrogant and unique. In the last years of the Yuan Dynasty, Chen Youliang led the sailors to fight fiercely with Zhu Yuanzhang here.
