Not long after the Spring Festival, this year's Spring Festival stall popular fruit "cherries" were hurriedly off the market.

Due to the late arrival of the Spring Festival this year, and the Chilean cherries all crossed the ocean for more than 20 days before arriving in China, it is not easy to hold on to the Spring Festival during the shelf life.

As soon as the Spring Festival passed, imported cherries were hurriedly taken off the market.

There are only some tailings left in the market that have been stored for a long time, and they have begun to be cleared at a low price, about less than 20 yuan.

In a few days, there may not even be a tail truck of Cherries.

However, don't worry too much, although there are no imported cherries, this year's domestic cherries came very early.

It's basically a seamless connection with Chilean cherries.

The first domestic cherries to be launched this year are the Meizao cherries produced in Dalian, which are now on sale in the retail market.

Meizao large cherry is the mainstream large cherry cultivar in China, but this is not a unique large cherry variety in China. This variety was introduced from the United States and was originally called "Taton", and it is also widely cultivated in the large cherry producing areas of the United States.

But now the United States does not grow much, and the old big cherry variety that is now planted more in the United States is "Binku", also known as "Bing".

The main varieties of cherries imported from Chile to our country are Santina, Labins and other varieties, although our country also grows a lot of large cherries of these varieties, but at this time, these varieties can not be marketed, we have to wait.

The Dalian Meizao cherries on the market this time are cultivated in greenhouses, and the large cherries are made to bloom and bear fruit in advance through greenhouse technology, and they are the first to be marketed. Generally, the production cost of large cherries like this morning is very high.

The production cost is high, and the selling price is naturally very high.

In the supermarket, a small box of Dalian Meizao cherries sold for about 4999 yuan, this ** is basically 100 yuan co-authored.

This year's Chilean cherry retail ** is about 50-70 yuan catty, and the current domestic cherries ** are more ruthless than Chilean cherries**.

Judging from the situation in previous years, the time for domestic cherries to be on the market is getting earlier and earlier.

In the past, although Dalian's greenhouse cherries would also be the first to be listed, they would not be on the market until at least 3 months. Even if there are some "domestic cherries" for the Spring Festival, the number is very small after all, and the sales channels will not go through ordinary supermarkets.

It is indeed too early for a large domestic cherry to be sold directly in a supermarket in February. It should be more than 40 days earlier than usual.

In this way, from February this year to July this year, there are basically domestic large cherries eaten.

You know, the big cherry was originally just a seasonal fruit, the seasonality is very strong, and the big cherry planted in the open air may be out of season for 5-6 days, and you can't eat it if you want to eat it.

Nowadays, through greenhouse technology and variety improvement, the shelf life of large cherries has been extended to 5-6 months, which is simply too fierce.

If you count imported cherries, then the big cherry is basically a fruit that can be used all year round.

If nothing else, cherries will be available throughout the year, but for most people, they don't eat them every month.

Here's why.

The cherries** that are available at different times of the year are different.

Imported cherries around the Spring Festival are generally not too cheap, and 30-50 yuan catties are common.

The cherries in February and March after the Spring Festival are mostly domestic greenhouse cherries, due to low yield and high production costs, ** sometimes higher than imported cherries.

The cherries in April and May are mostly cold shed cherries, and the ** at this time will come down, and they may be sold for 18-25 yuan catty, which is slightly cheaper.

Then in late May and around June, during this period of time, the national open-air cherry market ushered in a peak period, ** usually lower, from 6 yuan to 20 yuan catty, mainly depending on the production area and variety. The big cherries during this period are basically a trough of the big cherries throughout the year.

Therefore, if you choose when to eat cherries by looking at the level alone, it is more cost-effective to eat in May and June.

As for the difference in flavor between cherries in different months, what can you say?

Chilean cherries have a higher degree of standardization, no matter where you buy them or what kind of them are bought, the flavor will not be very bad, and basically the size and taste are relatively standard.

The large cherries in domestic greenhouses that are the first to go on the market are generally very large and very refreshing to eat, but the sugar content sometimes fluctuates between high and low, and it is very sweet if you buy it accurately, and it will be sour if you can't buy it accurately.

And there is no upper limit or lower limit for the flavor of domestic open-air cherries. If you buy it right, it's delicious, and if you can't buy it, it's almost impossible to eat.

Everything else is pretty much the same, but it's still a standardization gap.
