Dipropylene glycol methyl ether DPM is a colorless transparent liquid with a faint ether odor, low toxicity, low viscosity, low surface tension, moderate evaporation rate and coupling ability. DPM also has good solubility and can dissolve oils, natural resins and polymer chemicals, such as rubber, cellulose, polyvinyl acetate, polyvinyl methyl and ethyl butyraldehyde, alkyd resin, phenolic resin, urea resin, etc., so it has a very wide range of uses.
