ITIL is divided into three levels: ITIL Foundation, ITIL Practitioner, and ITIL Master. ITIL certification is an advanced certification, and you must pass the ITIL Foundation certification to apply for the ITIL Practitioner certification.

The ITIL Foundation certification enables candidates to view IT service management through the lens of an end-to-end operating model to create, deliver, and continuously improve technologies to support products and services. The exam format is an online exam, the duration is 60 minutes, the test paper includes 40 multiple-choice questions, and more than 65% of the correct answers (i.e. 26 questions) are passed, and the official invigilator will invigilate the exam one-on-one, and the results will be released on the spot.

The ITIL Practitioner certification is primarily for people who are engaged in specific processes of IT service management. The ITIL Master certification is a certification for senior IT service managers, including IT service management managers and consultants, especially those responsible for or advising on ITIL implementation.
