Later, I followed the trend and bought a variety of non-stick pans, from traditional non-stick pans to honeycomb stainless steel non-stick pans, and then to other Maifan stone pots, octagonal pots and other Internet celebrity pots, I found that it was not bad to use at the beginning, and then most of the time passed, these pots will basically have more or less problems, anyway, the life is usually shorter than that of iron pots, and even prone to coating peeling and damage.

After going around, I didn't give up and bought the iron pot again, after all, many people around me said that the iron pot was the best. This time, I made a strategy in advance, only to find out that it was not that the iron pot was difficult to use, but I didn't know how to use it at first.

Before choosing an iron pot, you need to figure out whether you want to buy a pig iron pot or a wrought iron pot. As long as the pig iron pot is boiled well and the oil film is formed, it will be more durable and the oil smoke will be smaller. But because it's much heavier than a wrought iron pot, it's too hard for me to pick it up as a girl, let alone want to stir it up when stir-frying. So I personally chose a wrought iron pot.

Before using the newly bought iron pot, you need to open the pot and run it in slowly, so that it will be easy to use later. The steps of boiling the pot are not difficult, after getting the pot, clean the inside and outside of the pot first, wipe the water dry, heat the pot to a slight smoke, and smear the inner wall of the pot with lard or cooking oil until it is completely absorbed, and the wall of the pot becomes smooth, which can prevent the iron pot from being too hard and improve the cooking effect.

It is recommended to do it once a month so that the iron pan can form an oil film in long-term use.

In fact, there are still a lot of things to pay attention to when using iron pots.

For example, pay attention to the heat. Although the iron pot is heat-resistant, do not use too much heat, otherwise it will be easy to stick to the bottom. Another important point is not to burn empty, if you burn empty, the iron pot is easy to rust and deform. When stir-frying, you should also pay attention to the strength and frequency of stir-frying, and try to ensure that the heating is even.

For my personal use, the iron pot is mainly used for stir-frying, and the iron pot will never be used for stews and stews, because some salty soups or acidic foods can easily affect the stability of the iron pot.

In addition, when the iron pot is hot and red, do not add cold water immediately, which is likely to burst directly, especially the wrought iron pot, the pot body is thin, and once it is heated unevenly, it may directly lead to the piercing of the pot body.

After each washing the pot, boil the water in the pot dry, and then smear a thin layer of oil, and raise the pot, so that not only is it not easy to stick to the pot, but the iron pot itself is not easy to rust.

In general, although the iron pot is a little more troublesome than the non-stick pan, it is really good to use when used. And after the iron pan is used, you will find that it will last much longer than the non-stick pan. So I suggest that if conditions permit, you can start a good iron pot and try it.
