Wen Tao Li. Following the U8, BYD's high-end electric brand Wangwang's second product has finally got new news.
According to the latest promotional poster officially released by Yangwang Automobile, Yangwang U9 is expected to be officially launched on February 25. This model is not unfamiliar to many consumers, at last year's press conference of the brand, the Yangwang U9, which is known as a million-level pure electric performance coupe, and the Yangwang U8, which is positioned as a new energy hard-core off-road vehicle, were unveiled on the same stage.
And this car has really been noticed by many people, and I believe it is still last year's "dancing"**
Looking up to the U9 equipped with the Yunlin-X fully active body control system based on damping control technology, height control technology, intelligent perception technology, stiffness control technology, four-wheel linkage technology and full active control technology, it can achieve 0 roll, 0 pitch, three-wheel vehicle dancing and jumping in place and other high-end functions, although many people complained about flashy at the time, but in fact, this technology can maximize the safety of drivers and passengers under extreme working conditions.
And back to the product of looking up to the U9, as the only million-level pure electric supercar in China, it also has a lot of commendability.
First of all, in terms of appearance, looking up U9 maintains the consistent sports elements of the supercar, streamlined body design, extremely low-lying body posture, and also adds some electrified elements, such as the front of the car adopts a new closed front face, with an exaggerated "door of time and space" LED headlight group, the front lip is made of carbon fiber material, and the bottom provides a large area of heat dissipation outlets, and the overall recognition is quite high.
On the side of the body, looking up at the U9 is equipped with the supercar's signature scissor door shape, from the layout point of view, the cockpit is relatively forward, presumably to make enough space for the drive motor and battery. The rear of the car is also equipped with a large rear diffuser and rear wing, and the whole sporty atmosphere is quite in place.
In terms of dimensions, the car length, width and height were 4966 2029 1295 (1338) mm, wheelbase 2900mm. The interior part almost subverts our perception of the traditional supercar, with an obvious sense of new energy vehicles, the physical buttons in the car are canceled, the center console only retains a knob, and other function buttons are replaced by touch screens.
The entire center console adopts a symmetrical layout, in addition to the embedded screen of the center console, the main and co-driver also have a small screen; At the same time, the interior is covered with a large number of suede materials, and the overall black is mainly used to create a fighting atmosphere, and it is decorated with bright stitching to highlight the sense of youth and sportiness.
The power part is the core attraction of the whole car, which is equipped with BYD's Yi Sifang technology, and the four wheels can be driven independently, which can achieve a U-turn on the spot. At the same time, the maximum power of a single motor is 240kw, the comprehensive power is 960kw, and the minimum 000 acceleration time is as low as 2 seconds. At the same time, it is matched with a lithium iron phosphate battery pack with a capacity of 80kWh, and the cruising range is 465km under CLTC mode.
For consumers, looking up to the U9 is more like a big electric toy, with a very low chassis and a short battery life, and almost no practicality at all.
However, for the industry, the emergence of looking up to U9 is still of great significance, after all, it is one of the few domestic electric supercars with a price of one million, of course, as a main performance product, at present, looking up to U9 has not come up with any track full speed results as a support is indeed unconvincing.
As for sales, although 1,652 units were sold last month, the U8 is obviously more distinctive than the U9, and the attributes of large toys are destined to be niche. Neither the Haobo SSR, which was launched last year, nor the impressive K50 before it, have failed to make a breakthrough in this regard, and it is difficult to say how the U9 will perform.
At the end of the day, consumers are still very resistant to electric supercars, and the breakthrough in acceleration performance achieved by stacking motors is always less convincing than the roar of the internal combustion engine. As a million-level high-end new energy vehicle brand with relatively high domestic recognition, everyone thinks that the outcome of looking up to its first electric supercar, looking up to the U9, will bring the domestic electric supercar to a new height, or will it become the next promising K50?
