The next day, there happened to be the acceptance of the work, I personally stood next to it, to see how the Indian supervisor was accepted, sure enough, it was the egg inside the bones, I did not have a black face throughout the whole process, I smiled when I looked at him, and then in front of him, instructed the construction team to rectify according to the opinions of the supervising engineer, and signaled the construction team not to get angry, rectification on the line, I will deal with it later.
I asked the interpreter of the project department to ask the Indian supervisor privately what he needed, and he said that his family's house was to be renovated, and he was a little short of money, and he was short of 1,000 US dollars. The translator came back to report to me and said that his reasons were different every time.
I said let's lend him $1,000, and the interpreter said that there was no repayment, and I said I understood.
Then on the same day, I contacted my deputy in Addis Ababa to buy a voice recorder, and emphasized that the shape of the voice recorder must be highly concealed, whether it is in the shape of a pen, or a keychain, or a lighter-style, anyway, it must be highly concealed, no matter what.
There are no weak soldiers under the strong general, and after a few days, the deputy arranged for someone to bring it over.
Then I arranged for the deputy project manager and the translator to be in my office and conduct a simulation exercise according to the script I had choreographed, first, to familiarize myself with the key points of the dialogue, and second, to test the effectiveness of the voice recorder.
The actual performance of the two people is good, and the effect of the voice recorder is also good.

The owner's general manager was shocked after listening to my report and immediately called the German director and asked him to bring the Indian supervisor to his office.
At first, the Indian superintendent flatly denied that when we translator took out the computer ** recording, he had nothing to say.
As I expected, the Indian superintendent was fired.
In the process of reporting and communicating with the owner's general manager, I emphasized to him that the purpose of our initial recording was to explain the reason for the corresponding expenditure to the domestic financial department, and it was really a last resort to report the Indian supervisor with the recording. This is very critical.
