People know that the 14-year War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression was a painful history deeply imprinted in the hearts of many Chinese, but what is more hated than the invaders is the puppet army that aided and abused in the War of Resistance against Japan, and their number even reached more than 900,000.

Every time these enemies who were in cahoots with the Japanese were mentioned, the patriotic fighters felt incomparably angry and hateful. In 1942, the large-scale sweeping campaign carried out by the Japanese invaders and the puppet army caused great damage to the New Fourth Army and made the situation of the War of Resistance against Japan even more severe.

At the critical moment of the anti-sweeping operation, the guards brought a pack of cigarettes to Su Yu, the general of Chang Sheng. However, when Su Yu opened the pack of cigarettes, he suddenly shouted nervously, demanding that the whole army gather immediately, turn off all radio stations, and change the plan to march into the army.

In 1942, an astonishing classified document fell into the hands of the Japanese puppet army. The document details the strategic deployment of the New Fourth Army, the route of the army, the route of the return of the senior generals, and even the number of guards around the chief.

The Japanese army has already deployed four wings on this necessary road, in an attempt to wipe out the main forces and high-ranking generals of our party in one fell swoop. So how did this vital document fall into the hands of the adversary?

It turned out that all this was the masterpiece of our party's underground party comrade Shi Yafu, who was secretly lurking in Wang's puppet army. He used a pack of cigarettes as a cover, hid the information in it, and successfully passed it on to us.

The acquisition and transmission of this confidential information enabled the New Fourth Army to be saved in the midst of danger.

Shi Yafu, who is respected as the "king of China", successfully avoided huge losses of the officers and men of the New Fourth Army with a key piece of information. His heroic behavior made General Su Yu still have lingering palpitations after the victory of the Anti-Japanese War.

When Shi Yafu was young, he was lurking in Japan because of the arrival of Nobuo Kobayashi, and he was urgently called to participate in the battle plan meeting against the New Fourth Army. When he saw this information, he was very surprised that the Japanese army was able to obtain such important information.

As a veteran underground party, his first reaction was: There may be spies within our party, and maybe even people close to the chief. During the meeting, he clenched his thighs tightly, hoping to stay awake and sane through the pain in his body and think about how to deal with the incident.

After the meeting, he was anxious to learn about the authenticity of this document, fearing that it might be a bait set by the Japanese army to lure the latent underground party to reveal their identities. At the same time, he was also worried about how to pass on the information to the New Fourth Army if the documents were true.

Faced with a helpless dilemma, Nobuo Kobayashi has already begun to celebrate the banquet. In order to confirm the authenticity of the document, Shi Yafu deliberately ran into Nobuo Kobayashi regardless of his own safety.

He said directly: "Your Excellency Kobayashi, with all due respect, there is a big problem with your battle plan. Based on our experience, it is impossible for the New Fourth Army to march from those places, and the Imperial Army will definitely be in vain. ”

Shi Yafu pointed out on the map that it was very unlikely that the New Fourth Army would hold a meeting in Nankan, because Nankan was located by the sea, with the sea to the north and east, and once surrounded, it would be very difficult to break through.

In addition, there is an endless beach that does not provide concealment, so he questioned whether the senior leaders of the New Fourth Army would choose such a dangerous place for the meeting. However, his questioning angered Nobuo Kobayashi, who asked him what qualifications he had to question the high-level spies they had cultivated by the Imperial Japanese Army.

When Schaf heard this, he immediately felt a chill. His words accidentally leaked that our party troops did indeed have Japanese sleeper spies who had undergone special high-tech professional training.

After receiving the information he wanted, Shiaf immediately bowed to Kobayashi Nobuo and apologized, explaining that he was only worried that the Japanese might suffer unnecessary losses.

Schaf hurriedly left the banquet, beads of sweat oozing from his forehead testifying to the anxiety in his heart. He was thinking about how to pass on the information, because once the Japanese army's plan succeeded, the losses of our army would be immeasurable, and how would he face the Jiangdong fathers?

As an old underground party member, Shi Yafu has long been firm in his heart and will never allow such a tragedy to happen. Since the clash with Nobuo Kobayashi that day, he has been acutely aware that he may have been watched by the Japanese army.

His every move may be known by Nobuo Kobayashi, so he must be careful at this time. In order to prevent the New Fourth Army from discovering the plan, the Japanese army monitored every Japanese puppet ** who participated in the meeting.

Under the pressure of the enemy, Shi Yafu immediately ordered his henchmen to send cigarette packs containing important information to the positions of the New Fourth Army, regardless of his personal safety. He travels alone to distract his enemies.

Fortunately, the henchmen managed to reach the area controlled by the New Fourth Army and immediately delivered the cigarette packs to the troops. However, the soldiers of the New Fourth Army, following the rule of not taking a stitch from the masses, refused to accept the pack of cigarettes.

In desperation, Shi Yafu stuffed a cigarette to a soldier of the Eighth Route Army, and hurried away, shouting: "It must be handed over to the commander of the First Division of the New Fourth Army!" ”

When a young soldier presented a pack of cigarettes to Su Yu, he saw the hidden information in it, and the Japanese army knew our army's battle plan. Su Yu immediately ordered a change in the direction of the march, and assembled the whole army and turned off the radio.

In order to find out the spies, Su Yu suspended the battle plan and stayed in the base area to rest. Shi Yafu, the person known as the "King of **", because of his actions, Kobayashi Nobuo's suspicions about him were eliminated.

And Shi Yafu took this opportunity to use the identity of the Japanese puppet lieutenant general to transmit information to our army.

Shi Yafu skillfully hid our army spy in a cigarette case and passed it to Su Yu through high-ranking Japanese military documents. With this information, Su Yu successfully discovered and secretly executed the spies.

Schyaf's intelligence provided important clues for the New Fourth Army, helping them escape from the Japanese encirclement again and again. The New Fourth Army gradually discovered that this hero was our party's secret trump card, Shi Yafu.

As the New Fourth Army continued to expose the conspiracy of the Japanese army, Nobuo Kobayashi could no longer sit still, and secretly ordered Tegaoke to investigate those close to him. Later, it was discovered that Shi Yafu was once the battalion commander of the 14th Army of the Red Army, and he held on to the belief that he would rather kill a thousand by mistake than spare one, and was ready to execute him secretly.

The situation was urgent, and for the safety of Shi Yafu, Ye Fei, deputy commander of the First Division of the New Fourth Army, decided to let him hold an uprising in advance.

On January 5, 1944, Schaf bravely led his subordinates to revolt, an action that caused a strong reaction within the puppet army. According to statistics, in just one month, more than 2,000 puppet soldiers decided to abandon the darkness and turn to the light.

Interestingly, Schaf recalls that when he began to do it anyway, the French radio also repeated the incident for several days, indicating to the whole world that there was a vacillation within the enemy.

But in reality, all these are the organized and planned actions of our party. Shi Yafu has been lurking in the Japanese puppet ** for many years, and even in the 34th Division of the puppet army, he also established a party branch and a party group under his command.

Under the close surveillance of the enemy, he trained a new batch of military personnel for our army.

Comrade Shi Yafu joined our party as early as 1929, participated in many anti-Japanese battles, and made important contributions to the anti-Japanese war. In 1942, he was sent by the organization to Wang Puppet **, serving as the commander of the puppet 7th Division, the chief of staff and deputy division commander of the puppet 34th Division, risking his life many times to transmit important information to our party, helping our army successfully destroy the enemy's conspiracy, and making outstanding contributions to promoting the victory of the War of Resistance against Japan.

Shi Yafu, the veteran revolutionary, became known to the public after the founding of the People's Republic of China, he served as the deputy head of the Nanjing Public Security Corps, and later rose to the Jiangsu Provincial Construction Commissioner. He died in Nanjing on November 23, 2010, at the age of 96.

Our current peaceful and stable life is inseparable from heroes like Schyaf, who selflessly dedicate themselves to the development of the motherland. We must remember these heroes who contributed to the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, without them, there would be no peaceful and stable life now.

Salute to all our revolutionary forefathers!
