Airworthiness certification disclosure, new configuration release, airworthiness technology verification aircraft one-stage test flight ......Since last year, Wofei Changkong has continuously improved the safety performance of EVTOL (flying car) and made a series of breakthroughs in the field of EVTOL (flying car). These advances can not only promote the development and popularization of eVTOL (flying cars) in China, but also promote the arrival of low-altitude travel and low-altitude economy in the future.
As a key part of Geely's layout of urban large-dimensional transportation, AE200, which has obtained the "Special Conditions for Type Qualification Approval Project" issued by the Civil Aviation Administration of China, is a representative EVTOL product of Wofei Changkong. It is understood that AE200 adopts single-wing distributed tilting power design and distributed electric propulsion (DEP) technology, and adopts the design of "four tilts in eight axes" in the airworthiness configuration, which has the characteristics of green, safe, comfortable, etc., which can not only meet the diversified travel needs of intercity, but also bring more three-dimensional and ecological future travel services with Geely's Cao Cao Travel and Yao Travel services. In addition, Wofei Changkong said that in the future, it will also develop new versions of AE200 for emergency rescue, logistics and transportation, etc., to develop the application potential of EVTOL.
So, when will the air industry, low-altitude transportation, and low-altitude economy arrive? This mainly depends on the airworthiness and landing process of the evtol. Although eVTOL is an emerging means of transportation, the global eVTOL airworthiness standard is still in the initial stage of exploration, development, and research and development. However, the Civil Aviation Administration of China issued the "Notice on Soliciting Opinions on the Special Conditions for the Type Qualification Approval Project of the Wofei Changkong AE200-100 Electric Vertical Take-off and Landing Aircraft", which is the first special conditions for the 5-6 seat passengers and the first manned EVTOL project in the country, so as to clarify the airworthiness safety requirements of the Wofei Changkong AE200 aircraft and fill the gap in the current certification of manned EVTOL aircraft. Moreover, Wofei Changkong is also the only Chinese company in the top 10 of the global EVTOL R&D enterprise ranking, which once again proves Wofei's leading position in the industry.
After the completion of the first phase of test flights, the AE200 airworthiness process is steadily underway and has now entered the third phase – a new phase of conformity plan development and approval. According to Wofei Changkong, last year, the company carried out a series of tests and verifications, completed a number of key technology tests and flight tests, and achieved a number of key achievements such as hovering test flights, ground full tilt tests, and small-angle tilt test flights.
With the innovation of its application scenarios and business models, the low-altitude economy will be more prosperous in the future.
