The reporter recently learned from the China Association for Science and Technology that in recent years, the China Association for Science and Technology has vigorously promoted the establishment of international science and technology organizations initiated by China, supported Chinese scientists to serve in international organizations, and Chinese science and technology workers have made positive progress in integrating into the global innovation network.
According to reports, since 2022, the China Association for Science and Technology has cultivated and established international science and technology organizations such as the International Hydrogen Energy Fuel Cell Association, the World Robot Cooperation Organization, the International Intelligent Manufacturing Alliance and the International Organization of Interscience, and actively prepared for the Asian Alliance, the World Public Science Quality Organization and other organizations.
The China Association for Science and Technology also actively guides the newly established international science and technology organizations in China to vigorously develop international members and participate in multilateral mechanisms and the formulation of international technical standards. We will work with relevant ministries and commissions and local governments to increase policy supply and optimize the development environment for international science and technology organizations in China. Beijing, Shanghai and other places have actively promoted the construction of clusters of international science and technology organizations, and Beijing has attracted a total of 8 international organizations to settle in.
In 2024, the China Association for Science and Technology will continue to deepen scientific and technological and cultural exchanges, and deeply participate in international science and technology governance by accelerating the construction of international science and technology organizations, supporting Chinese scientists to run for election and perform their duties in international organizations, recommending Chinese scientists to participate in international science and technology awards, and making good use of the United Nations consultation platform to express the voice of China's science and technology community.
