During this year's Spring Festival, the cold air affecting China was more active, and some areas encountered large-scale, long-term rain, snow and freezing weather. On the one hand, there is a surge in passenger and cargo traffic, and on the other hand, there is the adverse effects of extreme weather. With the hard power of science and technology, the transportation department guards the rails and trains to ensure the safety and efficiency of the Spring Festival transportation.
From 4 hours to 40 minutes.
There is an artifact for de-icing the alpine bullet train.
If there is snowfall, the snow on the rails will be rolled into the EMU chassis to form an ice shell, and the falling ice will cause damage to the signal equipment at the bottom of the car and the side of the line, so the work of ice melting and snow removal of the EMU is the top priority to ensure the safe operation of the EMU in winter.
In the past, EMU ice melting and snow removal mainly relied on manual snow removal by maintenance personnel using snow removal rods, rubber hammers and other tools. A train of 8 EMU takes 16 people to work for 4 hours to clean up, and the strength of manual snow removal is not easy to master, which is easy to damage the EMU body.
Nowadays, in the Harbin EMU depot maintenance warehouse, known as the "4S shop" of the alpine EMU, the mechanics use a high-pressure water spray gun, which is the first EMU ice melting and snow removal device, and the average ice and snow removal time of each EMU is only 40 minutes.
Because the space is only forty or fifty centimeters away, people drill under the car for investigation, there are certain safety and limitations, resulting in the operation takes two hours. During this year's Spring Festival, they used the "small tank" intelligent robot for the bottom of the vehicle for the first time to solve this problem.
"Little Tank" integrates advanced control, navigation and advanced acquisition and transmission technology, equipped with infrared and high-definition cameras, which can quickly detect the temperature at the key position at the bottom of the EMU, and collect image information of key parts such as bogie accessories, floor plates and bolts at the bottom of the EMU from all angles, providing scientific and accurate technical reference for the emergency fault disposal of the EMU.
In alpine areas, the locomotive staying outdoors for a long time will cause the oil and water pipelines to be blocked and frozen, resulting in the locomotive being unusable and affecting the normal operation of the locomotive.
In order to avoid the problem of freezing cars, according to the regulations, when the water temperature of the diesel engine is lower than 20 degrees Celsius during the locomotive staying outdoors, it is necessary to carry out manual "warming" operations, and the staff needs to start the locomotive every two hours to ensure that the parts of the locomotive will not be frozen. The time that needs to be warmed is in the early hours of the morning, and in a night shift, the driver has to "climb up and down" and inspect nearly 40 times in the bitter cold.
Nowadays, they have developed a key data monitoring equipment for diesel locomotive heating, when the locomotive oil and water temperature is lower than the operating standard temperature, the system will prompt the temperature personnel to get on the train for the first time, and the temperature personnel can see the parameters in the locomotive without leaving home for remote command.
