The dragon is prosperous, and spring is coming. On February 1, 2024, the People's Fine Arts Publishing House held a Spring Festival symposium for authors. The symposium was presided over by Lai Xuemei, general manager of China Art Publishing Group, and attended by editor-in-chief Gao Shiyi, deputy editor-in-chief Wang Yuan, deputy editor-in-chief Li Ying, deputy general manager Huang Zongliang, directors of relevant editorial offices and some key editors.

Editor-in-Chief Gao Shiyi reviewed the historical evolution of the People's Fine Arts Publishing House, and introduced the publishing situation, operation situation and future construction ideas of the main publishing product lines in 2023. Wang Yuan, deputy editor-in-chief, introduced the excellent publications and professional editorial team of the People's Fine Arts Publishing House in recent years.

In the nearly three-hour discussion and exchange, the participating authors shared their creative experiences, told the story of Renmei Society, affirmed the depth, breadth and temperature of Renmei Society's publications, and hoped that Renmei Society, as a palace that gathers, unites and even cultivates art masters and art theorists, will play a greater role in the "national team" of art publishing. The authors put forward specific suggestions for the development of the People's Fine Arts Publishing House from the aspects of topic selection and planning, marketing and promotion, journal publishing, and brand building.
