General Duan Suquan, the legendary general of the founding father, although he is no longer alive, was held a memorial service during his lifetime. Although he was a corps-level general, he should have been awarded the rank of general, but he was only awarded the rank of major general.

After the founding of the People's Republic of China, ** once compared him to a contemporary horse aid, which shows his important position in history.

Duan Suquan: Young Joined the Army, Outstanding Achievements Duan Suquan was born in 1916 in a peasant family in Chaling, Hunan. At the age of 14, he joined the Communist Youth League and served as the propaganda director of the Hunan and Jiangxi Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League.

His loyalty and dedication to the party's cause led him to become the political commissar of the Red Army's Qiandong Independent Division when he was less than 20 years old, and participated in the establishment of the Qiandong base area. However, in one battle, Duan Suquan was seriously wounded and lost contact with the troops.

With great perseverance, he returned to the team in 1937. During the Anti-Japanese War, he participated in the establishment of the Pingbei Base Area, commanded the guerrilla warfare, and led his troops to conquer and recover Zhangjiakou and other areas, making great contributions to the victory of the Anti-Japanese War.

In 1946, he served as the commander and political commissar of the Jirecha Military Region, leading his troops to fight in the Rehe area. In 1947, he served as the commander of the eighth column of Dongye and participated in the famous Liaoshen Campaign.

In 1949, he was transferred to the Northeast Military District as deputy chief of staff. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, he successively served as commander of the air force of the Northeast Military Region and the North China Military Region, commander of the Second Air Force Army, and deputy commander of the Fuzhou Military Region.

In the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, Duan Suquan also commanded air battles and made great contributions to the victory of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea. His young man joined the army, made outstanding achievements in battle, and was an outstanding representative of the Chinese people's army.

Crawling to find the team, Wang Guangguang and Duan Suquan's tenacity are admirable. When the Red Army in Guizhou was faced with a transfer, the command decided to order the independent division to continue to remain in the Qiandong area for guerrilla warfare and cover the transfer of the main forces.

After receiving the order, the division commander Wang Guangguang and the political commissar Duan Suquan resolutely carried out the task and promised to complete the task. In the process of covering the transfer of the main force, the team led by Duan Suquan suffered fierce attacks from the enemy's six regiments, but they always fought tenaciously and fought fiercely with the enemy for more than 20 days, winning precious time for the transfer of the main force.

During the final breakthrough, Duan Suquan was unfortunately hit in the ankle by the enemy's stray bullet and could not continue to advance. But he took the initiative to ask to stay and let the troops leave him alone and retreat quickly, and this kind of perseverance is worth learning from.

In that environment, most of the villagers did not dare to take in the Red Army for fear of the enemy, and Wang's fate seemed very slim. However, fortunately, a good Samaritan named Li Mufu risked his life by taking him in and hiding him in a hidden cave.

Wang Guangguang continued to lead the troops to break through, but in the fierce battle, almost all the soldiers of the independent division died. In memory of these heroic fighters, the Red Army specially held a memorial service for them.

Soon after, Duan Suquan's condition became more and more serious, and he was finally discovered by the enemy. The enemy wanted to kill him, but under Li Mufu's pleading, considering his serious condition, he let him go.

Unexpectedly, a few days later, Duan Suquan miraculously woke up. After his injuries gradually improved under Li Mufu's careful care, he decided to beg on the road and look for his troops.

3. The returning general, the feelings of the country will never change, even if he has experienced grievances One day in September 1937, Ren Bishi, director of the Political Department of the Eighth Route Army, was busy handling official business, when a beggar suddenly asked him to see Ren Bishi.

Ren Bishi immediately got up and hurried out, and when he saw Duan Suquan in rags, black and thin in front of him, his heart sank instantly. The two of them hugged tightly and cried bitterly, which moved everyone present.

After a lot of hardships, Duan Suquan finally returned to the team, and his loyalty and love deeply touched everyone. However, this experience also caused Duan Suquan to suffer many grievances, but he never changed his loyalty and love for the party and the people.

His return, his persistence, and his belief let us see a real hero, who uses his actions to tell us that no matter when and where, we must not forget our original intention and cannot give up our beliefs.

General Duan Suquan adheres to the belief of "not forgetting the original intention, you must always be", fearless in the face of difficulties, unswerving in the face of setbacks, always sticking to the original intention of serving the country and the people, no matter how the circumstances change, always maintain the original intention and unswerving spirit, which can be called the modern "horse aid", and his spirit is a model for all of us to learn.
