The Chinese training course for the Ethiopian Federal Police was officially launched

Cairo, 24 Feb (People's Daily News) -- Recently, the Ethiopian Federal Police officially opened a Chinese training class. The training was jointly organized by the Ethiopian Police University, the Chinese Embassy in Ethiopia and the Confucius Institute at Addis Ababa University. The opening ceremony was attended by Minister Counsellor Shen Qinmin, Chief Librarian of the Chinese Embassy in Ethiopia, Counselor He Yin, Police Liaison Officer, Counselor Zhang Yawei of the Cultural Affairs Department, President of Ethiopian Police University, Mesfen Abbebe, Vice President Daniel Bilhanu, Chinese Director of the Confucius Institute at Addis Ababa University, Chinese teachers and all the trainees.

At the opening ceremony, Shen Qinmin pointed out that the training course will help improve and deepen the understanding and understanding of the Chinese and Chinese languages and cultures of Egyptian law enforcement personnel, deepen and enrich the exchanges and connotations of law enforcement cooperation between the two countries, and is a vivid embodiment of the all-weather strategic partnership between the two countries.

In his speech at the event, Mesfin Abebe said that learning Chinese will help Ethiopian police better understand Chinese culture, strengthen their service capabilities, improve law enforcement levels, and promote friendly cooperation between Ethiopia and China.

This training course has a total of 40 hours, starting from basic Chinese, combined with the requirements of the first work, focusing on the application of Chinese in the context of law enforcement work. The 27 participants in the training were from the Ethiopian Federal Police and Addis Ababa Police Station.
