The products of the first phase of the Hubei base project of Nine Dragons Paper are mainly environmentally friendly packaging paper and high-grade containerboard. Up to now, the company has invested a total of 83800 million yuan, built an annual output of 300,000 tons of high-yield pulp production line, an annual output of 300,000 tons of chemical pulp production line, an annual output of 800,000 tons of high-grade kraft paper production line, an annual output of 600,000 tons of T paper production line.
According to Cao Weixing, at present, the company is in the parallel stage of production and construction, and the new expansion project has started construction. The second phase plans to build 2 cultural paper production lines with an annual design capacity of 600,000 tons, and the third phase plans to build a white cardboard production line with an annual output of 1.2 million tons, a bleaching chemical pulp production line with an annual output of 650,000 tons, and a chemical pulp production line with an annual output of 700,000 tons. The new project is expected to be completed and put into operation in 2026. By then, the pulp and paper production capacity of Nine Dragons Paper's Hubei base will reach 5.15 million tons. After the project is put into operation, it will bring a positive pulling effect to Jingzhou to build itself into the "paper capital of Central China".
