After two days and one night of comprehensive drill assessment, this female soldier stood out, beat the male soldiers, and won the first place in the comprehensive score of a certain type of sniper rifle, becoming a veritable female "gun king", and was awarded a personal second-class meritorious service. This amazing female soldier is Jing Maoli, the leader of the third platoon and the fifth squad of the anti-aircraft artillery company of the air defense battalion of a synthetic brigade stationed in Tibet.
Jing Maoli doesn't talk much, but he has a lot of hard work. During a training session, several models of guns were placed there, and as soon as they came up, the comrades-in-arms finished taking out the 6-pound sniper rifles. When it was Jing Maoli's turn, there was only a 14-pound sniper rifle left. She didn't say a word, picked up the gun and left.
The sniper training camp implements promotion and elimination. Jing Maoli, who has just touched the sniper rifle, has competitors who are all non-commissioned officers and squad leaders. When the first promotion list was announced, she was the only female soldier in the brigade who failed to make the cut. Armed cross-country 20 km, male soldiers carry 25 kilograms, female soldiers carry 15 kilograms. Jing Maoli is always self-pressurized, and it is about the same weight as a male soldier's back. During sniper training, she lay still for hours under the scorching sun to strengthen her muscle memory.
In late August 2021, heavy rain continued to fall on the training ground, and the live-fire drill kicked off in the rain and fog.
In the fog, the flying targets in the air were small and could barely be seen. Jing Maoli seized the moment when the target appeared for a few seconds, and ordered the female soldier squad to fire live antiaircraft artillery shells and shoot at the "enemy" air targets. The higher authorities used instruments to detect the spread of the projectiles and rated their training performance as good.
At the end of the exercise, the higher-level authorities and experts who guided the exercise agreed that the performance of the female soldiers in the exercise was qualified; The performance of Jing Maoli, the youngest commander of the female soldiers, is also qualified.
