The Air Jordan 1 Low continues to make its debuts.
Michael Jordan's first signature sneaker is lifestyle-oriented, achieving a healthy combination of traditional and modern looks. In recent months, the sneaker has appeared in at least two outfits prepared for the Year of the Dragon. With the year 2024 approaching, Peter Moore's much-loved designs from 1985 are back and seem to be inspired by the Asian traditions of the Far East. The combination of "Phantom", "Starlight Blue" and "Coconut Milk" shades allocates space on the shoe to create a refreshing Air Jordan 1. The suede and leather panels on the upper enhance the structure of the shoe, and the heel opts for a refined look reminiscent of Nike's previous "Vachetta Tan" products. However, the Contour Whirlwind is different from its surroundings and comes in a 'star blue' denim style with gorgeous contrasting stitching details. The design cues resemble the "sashiko" styles of the Air Jordan series' past, which are rooted in centuries-old Japanese practices.
At the foot, the "Special Edition" (SE) AJ1 Low is kept simple but elegant. The off-white midsole gives the project a touch of age. Moore's signature radial patterned outsole is opted for a translucent brown finish that complements the leather shards on top, as well as the inner lining.
