100,000 heavenly soldiers and generals can't help Sun Wukong, and Li Tianwang is somewhat faceless: his third prince Nezha and second prince Muzha are all defeated and left.
Guanyin Bodhisattva received the news of the defeat, pondered for a long time, and said a suggestion, suggesting that the Jade Emperor find Erlang God for help. However, Erlang Zhenjun just "listens to the tune and doesn't listen to the announcement". For this suggestion of Guanyin Bodhisattva, it is worth a good analysis. First of all, why did she recommend Erlang God, and secondly, why did Erlang God "listen to the tune and not listen to the announcement"?
The god Erlang is an important folk legend. Nowadays, when we are in a leisurely state and a little uninhibited, we will use a sitting position that is at risk of scoliosis, that is, stilted legs. This is the classic sitting posture of Jiro God.
Who is Jiro God? In "Journey to the West", Sun Wukong made it clear through the mouth: "I remember that the Jade Emperor's sister Sifan went to the lower realm, cooperated with Yang Jun, and gave birth to a man, who once made an axe to split Peach Mountain, is it you?" Although the words are provocative, the facts are basically true.
Erlang God's mother is the sister of the Jade Emperor, and he himself is the nephew of the Jade Emperor. His mother, Yao Ji, defied the rules of heaven and fell in love with a man surnamed Yang in the world, and gave birth to Erlang God, so he was pressed under Momoyama by the Jade Emperor, and it was not until Erlang God was seventeen years old that he split Momoyama to rescue his mother.
The legends after that are varied, in short, the intensity of the confrontation between Erlang God and Heavenly Court is not low compared with Sun Wukong. The description of Erlang God in the original book is: "The heart is high and does not recognize the heavenly family, and the sexual arrogance returns to the god to live in the Guan River", which also indirectly explains why the Erlang God has a relationship with the Jade Emperor who "listens to the tune and does not listen to the announcement".
Transfer, is transfer, deployment, which has the meaning of contract or help, while Xuan, is obviously an order from a superior to a subordinate.
Why did Guanyin Bodhisattva recommend Erlang God? There are several considerations in this. The first aspect is competence, and the second aspect is identity. Erlang God must be about the same weight as Sun Wukong, not too high, otherwise, Heavenly Court will inevitably be a little embarrassed. The third aspect is the most subtle, that is: the paths of Erlang God and Sun Wukong have many similarities.
The spirit of rebellion and the strength of martial arts are undoubtedly the common denominators. One lives at the mouth of the Guanjiang River, the other is in Huaguo Mountain, both of which are high and far away from the emperor, and they live freely in the world; One has a three-pointed, two-edged gun, and the other has a wishful gold hoop stick, which is very symmetrical; One is the six brothers of Meishan, and the other is the seven great saints who worship the seven brothers, which is also very similar.
Therefore, the process of the two of them fighting is really evenly matched, evenly matched, and very good-looking: the six brothers of Meishan cheered for the wind on this formation, and the four generals of Maliu passed on military orders on that formation.
When it comes to Sun Wukong's core skills, one is seventy-two changes, the other is somersault clouds, and Erlang God also happens to be able to do both. Not only will, but the skills and rank are still above Sun Wukong.
And at that time, Sun Wukong had not yet cultivated to the point of fiery eyes from Taishang Laojun, and Erlang God already had the ability to recognize "fiery eyes". When Sun Wukong was the first to change into a sparrow, the six Meishan brothers only knew that they were "gone, this monkey spirit is gone!" Only Erlang Zhenjun can see the clue at a glance.
The scene in which Sun Wukong and Erlang gamble on changes is a scene written in the original Journey to the West, which is full of fun and many details.
In the end, Sun Wukong jumped, a somersault cloud, and came to the mouth of the Guan River. What is he here for? He turned into the appearance of Erlang God himself and sat in the temple, "Seeing the three animals that Li Hu worshipped, Zhang Long's promise, Zhao Jia's document for asking for a son, and Qian Bing's good wish to complain of illness." ”
When he was pretending, Shinjiro God came in, and Sun Wukong had to change back to his original form to face the battle.
There is a wonderful point here, when the fake Erlang God saw the real Erlang God, he only laughed and said, "Lang Jun does not shout, the temple is surnamed Sun", the scoundrel was convinced by the Erlang God later, so he immediately showed his original form, knowing that he couldn't hide. It must be known that later, in the chapter of the real and false Monkey King, the fake Monkey King six-eared macaque is not so quick to admit the fake.
When the two jumped into the air and fought, Tianding Lux and Jade Emperor Bodhisattva were all in **, and the Bodhisattva opened his mouth and said to Taishang Laojun, "How about the Erlang God raised by the poor monk?" —Hear the smugness in the words.
The strength of the two is equal at this time, but Erlang God has a slight advantage, and with a little help, he can win.
This help was contributed by Taishang Laojun. He contributed his gold. This weapon, we will meet it again in the future, in the 52nd chapter of the original work, Taishang Laojun's green ox came down to earth, and its weapon is this King Kong Zhuo.
At this time, the Monkey King was beaten and fell by Jin Gangzhuo, and was caught up and bitten by the thin dog of Erlang God, which can be described as being attacked in the back and abdomen. Erlang God and his brothers swarmed up, and Sun Wukong could only be captured.
It is worth noting that after this battle, has there been any change in Erlang God?
As mentioned earlier, the legendary Erlang God used to be as rebellious and flying as Sun Wukong, but at this time, the victorious Erlang God said to his six brothers: "Makeup and so on have not been recorded by the heavens, and they are not allowed to meet the Jade Emperor. "—How tame and obedient this is, and that ** unruly Erlang God, is already different.
