When it is about 1 meter, there are generally 3 pieces of fruit.
One or two fruits should be harvested in time after they are ripe, if they are kept for ornamentation, they may affect the results later, if they are not harvested, the fruits are enriching the seeds, which consumes nutrients.
After topping, the top advantage is broken, the leaf axils will continue to grow new shoots, to constantly wipe out the leaf buds that grow out of the upper leaf axils, the leaf buds on the stalk will come out first because of the top advantage, don't feel distressed, to resolutely erase it, the base buds will definitely come out, only leave a strong bud or 2 strong buds at the base of the stem, let it grow up, and cultivate it the fruiting branches after the day.
When the fruit of the top one is ripe and harvested, the old branches are pruned off, just as the new branches grow again, and then they bloom and bear fruit, and so on. Generally, it is cut 2 to 3 times a year, once in summer and once in winter and spring. Space on the balcony is limited, and by controlling the height in this way, it is generally possible to harvest 4 to 5 batches a year. Because it is not easy to bear fruit in the summer high season, the real fruit is in spring, early summer and autumn. The rainy season and high temperatures in summer are not good for tomato growth, so it is necessary to take appropriate shelter from the rain.

5.Pest control, tomatoes are prone to aphids, red spiders, etc., and whiteflies on the balcony should be paid attention to. This will definitely affect the growth potential, so it is necessary to pay attention to observation and timely insect removal.
