Please don t put your resume in front of user needs

As engineers, we often recommend techniques, methods, and methods to solve problems, and we may not recommend these because they are suitable for the project, but because deep down we want them to be on our resumes. However, such decisions rarely lead to pleasant results.

The best thing about your career is that a string of clients are eager to refer you because you did the right thing for them and their projects. This good reputation will have a bigger impact on you than the latest technology. While it's important to keep up with technology trends, it shouldn't come at the expense of your customers. It's important to remember that you have a responsibility that the client has entrusted to you. As an architect, you are responsible for the well-being of the organization, which means that you need to avoid all conflicts of interest and be absolutely loyal to the organization. If the current project isn't cutting-edge or not challenging enough to meet the needs of your current career, then find one that meets those criteria.

If you can't do that and you're unlucky enough to be forced into a project that isn't very technologically cutting-edge, it will be happier for you and others to use the right technology rather than the one that will work for your resume. While it's often hard to resist using a new and cool solution, even though it's not the most appropriate for the project.

With the right solutions, the project will have a happier team, happier customers, and less stress. This will give you time to delve deeper into the old technology you are currently using or give you more personal time to research new technologies or expand your hobbies and spend time with your family.

All in all, you can't go wrong by always putting your customers' long-term needs ahead of your own.
