1.Strong data consistency, fast switching of high availability, and micro-sensing of services

In the field actual business test, the jitter stability is 6 times higher than that of other databases, and the performance is far ahead. At the same time, the utilization of storage space has increased by 17%.
3.Fully encrypted database, based on the retrieval and calculation of ciphertext data, fully guarantees user privacy and security
HUAWEI CLOUD GaussDB is the industry's first fully encrypted database that provides a software-only form. Compared with the risks that may be caused by the use of single-point storage encryption in traditional databases, such as administrators maliciously obtaining key decryption and information leakage, GaussDB's fully encrypted solution allows users to hold their own data encryption and decryption keys, and the encryption and decryption process is only completed on the client side, so that data exists in ciphertext throughout the entire life cycle of storage, transmission, and query. Therefore, no matter what state the data is, attackers cannot obtain effective information, thus ensuring the privacy and security of the entire life cycle of enterprise data.
4.Distributed architecture, two modes (single shard + multi-shard), making deployment more flexible and simple to migrate
In terms of deployment methods, HUAWEI CLOUD GaussDB provides flexible deployment modes for distributed architectures: single-shard and multi-shard, making database migration easier. Among them, single-shard distributed applications are more friendly to application migration and can meet the smooth migration of most traditional centralized applications. Single-sharded multi-tenancy is suitable for small and micro applications, which can limit resource usage and conflicts between tenants. Multi-shard distributed supports the distributed transformation of ultra-large-scale and rapidly bursting services, with a maximum of 256 shards, 1024 nodes, and a maximum of 4PB of massive data.

UGO is responsible for assessing the risk and workload of the source database and automatically converting the syntax of the heterogeneous database. DRS is responsible for the real-time migration and synchronization of full and incremental data, ensuring zero data loss through data consistency comparison, and simulating business traffic for verification, so that customers can migrate with more confidence.
