Even the J 20 must be ready to sacrifice! Why is the Chinese Air Force so polite to foreign aircraft

Recently, the Wang Hai Brigade of our army, as an outstanding representative of the combat sequence of the Air Force, has been widely publicized. This heroic unit is known as the trump card unit and is the first combat unit of our army to be equipped with the J-20. As the sharp knife unit of the PLA Air Force, Wang Hai's brigade not only has the most advanced fighters, but also has many fierce confrontations with foreign fighters.

When we talk about the confrontation of the 5th generation fighters of our army with the fighters of foreign armies, we note that the pilots of the 5th generation fighters of our army show great modesty. These pilots have always maintained an attitude of taking the initiative in many competitions with foreign pilots.

It should be emphasized that the J-20, as a fifth-generation fighter independently developed by China, has not only reached the world-class level, but also shown obvious advantages in direct benchmarking with the F35 produced in the United States. Although the F35 is considered the most powerful fighter in the world, there is actually no advantage to occupy in the face of the J-20, a formidable opponent.

China's fifth-generation fighter has significant advantages over the F35 in terms of battlefield awareness, stealth capabilities, and long-range attack capabilities. The use of this advanced fighter against other fighters, such as Rafale, F16, F15, electronic reconnaissance aircraft, high-altitude and high-speed unmanned reconnaissance aircraft and other aerial platforms, is actually in a state of crushing.

Faced with this situation, our pilots responded with only an understatement of "proactive posture", which is somewhat impressive.

The author is convinced that our pilots will respond in this way, and not for nothing. Because the reports we have seen so far of China's 5th generation fighter confronting fighters with fighters of other countries clearly show that the J-20 has failed to fully demonstrate its true strength in the confrontation. To put it more bluntly, the fighter plane in many cases appeared to be constrained.

In August last year, we authoritatively produced a military column called "Chasing Dreams", which rarely showed the thrilling moment of the J-20 fighter jet driving away foreign fighters! At that time, the pilot of the J-20 was Li Debing, and a foreign fighter plane made a provocative flight in China's airspace, and Li Debing drove the J-20 to quickly take to the air to respond. China's J-20 flew directly into the airspace where the incident occurred and issued a warning to the opposing fighter jets to disperse.

However, what is surprising is that in the face of China's 5th generation fighters, the other side is not afraid and remains stubborn. In this case, Li Debing continued to drive the J-20 to approach the opponent's fighter.

According to the pilot's recollections, at that time this Chinese 5th generation fighter was getting closer and closer to the opponent's fighters. 10 km, 5 km, 1 km apart, until the imminent collision, the pilots were even ready to sacrifice. Faced with the world's most advanced fighter jet, the opponent was visibly frightened, and then urgently evaded and fled the relevant airspace.

In that confrontation, although we successfully defended the sovereignty of the motherland, there was one question that many people believed wanted to ask. In this tense confrontation, we showed firmness and decisiveness to ensure the security of the territory of the motherland. As the most advanced fighter, the J-20 should be intimidating to the enemy with its advanced technology and powerful performance. However, the scene of this hand-to-hand combat raises questions. A fifth-generation fighter is so frequently approaching the enemy that it seems to be contrary to what it was designed for.

In fact, this behavior not only exposes the weakness of the J-20, but also may put the pilot in danger. When dealing with the fighters of other countries, our J-20 appears to be too mild. Why is this happening? Doesn't this expose one's own shortcomings and avoid the other party's strengths? In the author's opinion, there are two main reasons why we have adopted such a posture to deal with the relevant confrontation. Although the current world is still full of uncertainties and challenges, our domestic focus is still on peaceful economic construction.

At the same time, the main task of our army is to defend the security of the country's territory, and not to actively pick quarrels and provoke trouble. Therefore, in dealing with peripheral affairs, our armies will try to avoid actions that could lead to engagement, and this principle does not change whether or not we have the most advanced equipment at our disposal.

China, as a peace-loving world power, has demonstrated the principles that our soldiers adhere to in handling many foreign affairs. Even if the J-20 is an advanced fifth-generation fighter, when foreign fighters are approaching China's airspace, it still adheres to the principle of not firing the first shot. As a result, the J-20 was unable to adopt a long-range attack strategy, and could only fly into the relevant airspace and adopt the method of approaching and expelling. It is worth mentioning that this principle is not affected by the advanced equipment in the hands of soldiers.

On the whole, whether it is the J-20 or the air force of China's soldiers, when dealing with fighters from other countries, they mainly use means such as accompanying flights, shouting and expelling at close range, and forcing expulsion at close range. In some emergency situations, to carry out such a means of expulsion, pilots do need to have extremely high flight operation skills and strong psychological qualities. In my opinion, this difficulty is even much more complicated than direct **.

This insistence on the principle of peace not only demonstrates the professionalism of our team, but also highlights the outstanding performance of the pilots in extreme situations. Today's headlines are original, distributed across the network, and must be investigated.
