To open the directory navigation in WPS, you can follow these steps: First, in the working interface of WPS text, find and click on the "View" tab. This option** is often located on the left side of the menu bar and is easy to find. 
Second, in the View tab, you'll see a series of sub-options. Among these sub-options, find and check the Navigation Pane. This step is the key step to enable directory navigation, and after checking, the directory navigation function will be activated.
