This means that it has no front legs, and some people say that its front legs are very short, so it can only lie on the wolf and act together. Why would the wolf be willing to partner with the wolf? In the "Materia Medica", it is said that "the front of the foot is short, and it can know where the food is", and it is good at finding food or prey. It seems that the embarrassment was relatively mysterious two thousand years ago, and it is usually only seen in rumors. The folk believe that it is the wolf's "dog-headed military advisor", extremely cunning, and can give advice to the wolf. 
Shuowen Jie Zi does not include the word "embarrassment". The Kangxi Dictionary explains "狈" as, "the name of the beast." The wolf genus also, those who give birth to children or owe one-legged or two-legged children, go hand in hand. If you are away, you will be upside down. "Most of the ancients believed that they were close relatives of wolves, or that they were congenitally deformed wolves. If there is no wolf to hold it, it loses its ability to move, so it is very "embarrassed". The modern view also holds that the embarrassment belongs to the canine family, a close relative of the wolf. But others say that it is a hybrid breed of fox and wolf, with birth defects and a very low birth rate. In short, the embarrassed has a high IQ and a very bad reputation, and he is "embarrassed" with the wolf. 
Some opponents say that there may not be such an animal at all, and that the idiom "wolf is a traitor" may be derived from "蛩蛩駏驉 (jù xū)", that is, two animals in ancient legends, 蛩蛩 and distance void, which need to cooperate with each other in order to survive. However, the stingers and elongations recorded in ancient books are herbivores, harmless to humans and animals, and should be different from wolves and embarrassments. Then, two wolves came out of a nearby cave carrying an old wolf. The old wolf went to the haystack and pulled out a handful of grass from underneath with his mouth. The wolves did the same, and they all went up to pull the weeds. When the man on the haystack was about to fall, a hunter passed by and saved his life. 
At the end of the story, it is only said that the old wolf may be an embarrassment. This story was also written by Qian Zhongshu's wife, Yang Jiang, in a collection of essays. In modern times, there are also many rumors about people encountering wolves and embarrassments. Anyone who has seen it says that it is so clever that it has to be "refined". Here are two things to talk about. The first story was in the Urumqi Evening News many years ago. It happened in the 70s of the last century, and the protagonist was a geological worker engaged in scientific research, who was investigating the Altun Mountains in Xinjiang at that time. One evening, when he was about to drive back to the camp alone, the car caught fire. Then he looked up and saw a small pack of wolves approaching. 
At that time, wild wolves were still relatively common in Xinjiang. The geologist quickly closed the car door and continued to try to start the car. The wolves arrived and circled around the cart. At this time, another big wolf came carrying an animal that looked like a small wolf, and the geologist, who was not too afraid, remembered the embarrassment of the local legend and immediately trembled with fear. Fortunately, as soon as the big wolf and the little wolf arrived, the car started and the geologist hurried away. Because it was dark, he didn't see the little beast clearly. The following year happened in Shanxi in the 50s, where locals allegedly killed an embarrassment. On a winter night in 1956, somewhere in Shanxi. One truck broke down in the middle of the road and stalled, about two kilometres from the nearest village. A few people in the car discussed, leaving one behind, and the other went to the village to find someone to help. A few people had just walked for a while when a group of passing wolves spotted the truck and surrounded it and refused to leave. 
The stayers in the cab turned on their headlights and tried to scare the uninvited guests. The wolf was startled by the bright light at first and scattered. But the left-behind man turned on and off the lights several times, and the wolf was no longer afraid, and continued to circle the car. Those who stayed behind had no choice but to honk their horns incessantly. The result was still the same, and the scattered wolves listened to the horn a few times, and found that there was no threat, and gathered around again. But they can't help the people left behind in the cab. In the middle of the stalemate, two wolves left, and the rest continued to squat. After a while, the defenders saw through the light the return of the two wolves that had just left, three to be exact, one of which looked like a wolf was lying on the back of a wolf. They circled around the cart, and the animal that the wolf was carrying whined a few times. What happened next terrified the people left behind in the truck. The wolves heard the cry of the mysterious beast and immediately lined up, jumping up and banging on the cab door in turn. Those who stayed behind realized that they had met the legendary Horn. At the critical moment, a car drove from the direction of the village, and the companions of the left-behind and a few villagers drove over. Seeing this, the wolves immediately scattered and fled, and the embarrassed partner was not reliable, and it was abandoned. Rescue vehicles arrived at the scene, and everyone found a deflection on the ground, with short front legs and long hind legs. The villagers killed him with shovels on the spot.
