In the first full trailer of Marvel Studios' "Deadpool 3", officially titled "Deadpool and Wolverine", Alan Stamford made a surprise return as Pyro the fire mutant.
Stamford's returning character, also known as John Allardyce, only appears in a few frames, and when the titular anti-hero, played by Ryan Reynolds, enters his first Marvel Cinematic Universe action sequence, he yells "Oh my gosh, I love this part!" ”
After a cameo appearance in 2000's X-Men, he returned and took on a bigger role in 2003's X-Men 2 and 2006's X-Men: The Last Stand, appearing as a villain alongside Magneto in the third film.
At the end of X-Men: The Last Stand, Pyro is defeated by Sean Ashmore's Iceman because Ashmore's hero freezes Pylo's hand and knocks him out with a headbutt.
In an exclusive interview with The Direct, Stamford slyly hinted a few weeks before the trailer was released that he would "think about it" if someone asked him if he might return:
I'll have to think about it. You know, for this role, I've been there and I've played it. I like it very much. And I still have a lot of good memories and a lot of precious friendships. I don't know, man. This is an interesting question. I'll have to think about it. ”
What happens in Deadpool 3?
Since Alan Stanford's character Pyro only appears for a few seconds in the trailer, it was a challenge to decipher his role in this highly anticipated sequel.
However, with the return of most of the cast from Deadpool's first two solo films, and the addition of Marvel Studios newcomer Matthew MacFerdin, the boundaries between the Fox and Marvel Studios universes are about to quickly dissolve.
Fans saw Deadpool show off his brand new Marvel Cinematic Universe-influenced costume in some epic action footage near the 20th Century Fox logo after learning he's going to be part of the highest-grossing film franchise in movie history.
Through past footage from films such as Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Avengers 2: Age of Ultron, and Thor 3: Ragnarok, Reynolds and his team learned about the task at hand, as Deadpool ranks among the biggest names in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
On top of that, Reynolds' own hero will be used in multiple versions, creating one of the craziest personal stories ever in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. February**Dynamic Incentive Plan The first trailer of "Deadpool 3" is coming, and the new villain Cassandra makes a shocking appearance!
