The sun is shining all over the land, and spring is in full swing. This year's Spring Festival is a good time for bird watching. In this wonderful season, I embarked on a bird-hunting journey with my curiosity and love for nature.

During the Spring Festival, I patrolled the river several times in a row to observe waterfowl. Every time you cruise the river, you can find some new faces. The old herons are still waiting there, geese and ducks are in flocks, and swans are playing in the water. Occasionally, you can also encounter two Chinese mergansers, which start from the county seat and go west along Luohe Road, stopping to have a look. Although there were no rare birds such as the Oriental White Stork this time, a red-necked thrush that had just been added a few days ago was found among the flocks of red-tailed spotted thrushes. This habitat change of birds often comes with unexpected surprises, which is also the experience of most birdwatchers.

On the day of the new year, it was a beautiful day with a warm day. After eating early, I set off to Zushi Temple Mountain. According to last night's plan, I first came to the first station halfway up the mountain of Limiao Village Road and Wujialing. As soon as the car was parked, a small flock of goldfinches whistled overhead with a melodious song and pounced into the ditch. I quickly picked up my binoculars, put my camera on my back, and chased towards the edge of the ditch. It is a huge sinkhole-like circular ditch that narrows northwest like a tadpole's tail stretching out to the Luo River below. The ditch is wooded and shrubbed, and there are abandoned houses in the distance. The view is unobstructed.

Sitting on a large rock along the edge of the ditch and waiting, suddenly there was movement in the dense bushes. I hurriedly raised my binoculars to take a closer look, and it turned out to be the Grass Bunting and the Grey Bunting. Although these two birds are ordinary, their calls are pleasant to the ear. Then there was a yellow-rumped bulbul, which pecked at flying insects in the air on its branches. The good times always go by quickly, and it is already past ten o'clock when I look at my watch. So I continued to drive to the east ditch of the first station, the Patriarch Temple.

The mountain road is steep and winding, and there is no way up the mountain in winter, and the Wujialing section has been renovated and widened. Soon came to the mouth of the ditch at the first station, and then walked to the bottom of the ditch. The feeling on the road is that thousands of mountains and birds are flying away, and thousands of people are gone. I sat down at an abandoned quarry at the bottom of the ditch, basking in the warm sun, quietly waiting for the birds to appear.

At this moment, the red-headed long-tailed appeared in the branches on the right side of the ditch. Then two mountain thrushes followed. After a while, small groups of Bigbrow Bunting mixed with Grey Browed Rock Bunting drilled around. At this time, only a little red bird was very dazzling in the sunlight and caught my attention. I hurriedly picked up my camera and aimed it at it, but it was very cunning and hid behind the branches. After some chases, I finally photographed the bird's **. After inquiring about the information and discussing with the teachers, it was determined that this is the Chinese long-tailed finch isolated from the long-tailed finch, which is a rare and good bird. This is my first new year in the new year, and it is also the first bird species in my own land, and the first bird species in my own land. Although it was too far away to take pictures, I still felt extremely excited and satisfied.

In the afternoon, I climbed to the top of the Patriarch Temple again to look for the Chinese long-tailed finch, although I did not encounter it again, but with the company and support of my old wife, I cherished this wonderful time even more. The road of bird watching is long and arduous, but it is this kind of exploration and pursuit that keeps me growing and improving. In this spring, may we all find our own surprises and touches!
