Wang Chunsheng said that China-Australia economic and trade cooperation has made great achievements and brought tangible benefits to the people of the two countries. CIIE is an important measure for China to take the initiative to open its market to the world, a pragmatic action for China to support economic globalization, and a demonstration of China's firm determination to promote high-level opening-up and build an open world economy. Since its first launch, the quality of the CIIE has continued to improve and its international influence has become more extensive. More Australian products have entered the Chinese market through the CIIE and are well known to Chinese consumers. CIIE not only provides a high-quality platform to promote first-class cooperation, but also plays a greater role in promoting two-way investment, tourism and cultural exchanges between the two countries through the Hongqiao Forum and other professional supporting activities.
