Wang Tingzhu (1902-1996), also known as Boji, was a native of Luonan County, Shaanxi Province. In his early years, he graduated from Luonan County Private Huayang Middle School. In 1923, he was admitted to the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of National Northwest University.
In February 1924, Wang Tingzhu received a letter from a classmate from Shaanxi at Shanghai University, and learned that the first phase of the Whampoa Military Academy was recruiting students in Shanghai, and the examination room was set up at Shanghai University. So he made an appointment with his classmates Tao Zheng and Fan Yiyou, who were in the provincial agricultural profession, to go to Shanghai together, and when they arrived in Shanghai, the examination had ended, and they were transferred to Guangzhou. At that time, Yu Youren, a representative of Shaanxi nationality who participated in the First National Congress of the Kuomintang, had not yet left Guangdong, and Wang Tingzhu's cousin, Wang Yongzhan, had known Yu Youren for a long time, so Wang Tingzhu gathered nearly 100 young people of northern origin in the same situation, and elected a representative to meet Yu Youren, who was moved by this, so he and some representatives of the First National Congress of the Kuomintang from the north jointly wrote to Sun Yat-sen, asking for admission to the Whampoa Military Academy. Soon after, Wang Tingzhu, a group of young people from the north, participated in the make-up examination of the military academy and admitted 60 people, and Wang Tingzhu ranked fifth and was admitted to the fourth team of the first phase of the Whampoa Military Academy.
After graduating from the military academy, he served as the platoon commander of the military academy teaching regiment, and after participating in the first Eastern Crusade, he returned to Shaanxi with the consent of the school, when Yang Hucheng, commander of the third division of the third army of the national army, followed the example of the Huangpu Military Academy in Yao County, Shaanxi, and founded the Sanmin Military Academy. Wang Tingzhu was invited to serve as the vice captain of the student team and later succeeded as the captain.
In April 1926, Liu Zhenhua, the "Zhensong Army", attacked Xi'an, and Wang Tingzhu led his team into the city to participate in the war and served as Yang Hucheng's guard. After the siege of Xi'an was lifted, the Sanmin Military Academy no longer existed, and Wang Tingzhu served as the deputy of the Shaanxi First Mixed Brigade (Brigade Commander Mark Zhai). In 1927, he fought in Henan with the army, and after the army was defeated, he retreated to northern Anhui with Yue Weijun. In 1928, Yue Weijun's department was reduced to the new first division, Wang Tingzhu served as the commander of the second brigade (brigade commander Ji Yuanlin), at this time there were many Shaanxi Huangpu students serving in the department, divisional level such as Tang Sitong (deputy division commander), Wei Bingwen (division chief of staff), Zhang Kunsheng (director of the division's political training office), brigade-level Tian Yi'an (deputy brigade commander of the first brigade), Shi Zhongyu (deputy brigade commander of the second brigade) and others. In September 1929, the number of the new First Division was revoked, and Wang Tingzhu entered the ** Military Academy. In 1930, the military academy established the Second Division, which was later renamed the Fourth Division, and successively served as the deputy commander of the 24th Regiment of the 12th Brigade and the commander of the 23rd Regiment.
In 1934, he entered the third phase of the higher education class of the ** military academy for training. After graduating in 1935, he served as a colonel and staff officer of the Army Finishing Office. In December 1936, he served as the captain of the Second Brigade of the Officer Corps of the Wuhan Branch of the ** Military Academy.
After the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War in 1937, the national ** moved westward and was transferred to the head of the Wuhan Garrison Regiment and the commander of the Wuhan Garrison Brigade to participate in the Battle of Wuhan. After the war, he was transferred to the commander of the 165th Brigade of the 55th Division, stationed in Yichang, and served as the task of river defense, and later transferred to Fengjie, Sichuan for training.
In March 1939, he was promoted to deputy commander of the 55th Division (division commander Li Jilan), and soon succeeded Leng Xin as the major general of the 22nd Supplementary Corps Training Department in Zhuji, Zhejiang. In 1941, he was promoted to commander of the 63rd Division and returned to Chongqing without taking office. He was appointed as the director of the Northwest Inspection Committee and returned to Shaanxi. In 1943, he went to Chongqing to serve as the chief of the Second Guardianship Corps (one said to be the Guard Corps) of the Ministry of Military Affairs.
After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, he joined the ** training regiment in 1946 as a major general. In the same year, he entered the second phase of the second class of the army general's official class. After graduating in 1947, he successively served as Major General Gao Staff of the Northeast Xingyuan, Deputy Director of the Northeast Branch of the ** Training Corps, Deputy Commander of the Lieutenant General of the 14th Corps, and Lieutenant General of the New Eighth Army.
In the winter of 1949, he went to Taiwan. He entered Taiwan in 1952"Revolutionary Practice Institute"Later, he served as the commander of the Matsu City Defense of Kinmen. Since 1988, he has been elected to the first rank of the Kuomintang.

Wang Tingzhu studied calligraphy meticulously throughout his life, and was quite accomplished in calligraphy, and it is said that he was proficient in all kinds of grass seals, and the works on display were well received and praised. He died in Taipei in March 1996.
