Coal tar residue treatment process

1.Feeding: Coal tar residue is packed in tons, and the coal tar residue needs to be lifted up by a crane and put into the hopper when feeding, and the hopper is connected to a screw feeding system, which can send the coal tar residue into the cracking furnace.

2.Pyrolysis: Start the burner for preheating, preheating takes about 2 hours, when the temperature of the cracking furnace reaches 180, the coal tar residue begins to crack in the cracking furnace.

3.Oil: When the pyrolysis reaction of coal tar residue occurs in the pyrolysis furnace, oil and gas begin to be generated, and the oil and gas first pass through a buffer tank, which is used to separate heavy oil residue and light oil and gas; As the light oil gas continues forward, it enters the condensing system, where it is cooled into a liquid, i.e. liquid fuel oil, which then flows into the storage tank.

Our condensing system is composed of vertical condenser + horizontal condenser + condensing tower, with a condensation area of up to 100 to ensure that the oil and gas are fully cooled and the oil yield is improved.

4.Slag out: After the pyrolysis of coal tar residue, what remains in the cracking furnace is carbon black, mud slag, etc., and the carbon black residue is discharged through the automatic water-cooled slag removal system, and then the carbon black residue will be stored in the carbon black tank.

5.Tail gas desulfurization and purification: after the condensation treatment, there are still some non-condensable combustible gas remains, these non-condensable combustible gases first pass through the water seal device, the water seal is used to purify the non-condensable combustible gas, and at the same time can also prevent tempering, the water-sealed combustible gas is collected through a special pipeline and sent to the combustion chamber of the pyrolysis system as fuel for heating.

6.Flue gas desulfurization and dust removal purification: The exhaust high-temperature flue gas generated after the incineration of non-condensable combustible gas is first cooled by flue condensation, and then discharged up to the standard after multi-stage purification such as desulfurization tower, denitrification tower, dust removal, and activated carbon adsorption.
