A common classification of large scale solar water heating system design

Mondo Home Updated on 2024-02-01

In the design stage, the solar water heating system project should follow the principles of water saving and energy saving, safety and simplicity, durability and reliability, economic applicability and easy measurement. The design of the solar water heating system should reasonably select the system type and installation location according to different needs, and should be in harmony with the overall building and the surrounding environment. The solar water heating system can be composed of a solar thermal collection system, a hot water supply system, an auxiliary energy system, an electrical and control system, etc. Among them, the solar thermal collection system can include solar collectors, heat storage devices, water pumps, brackets and connecting pipelines.

1. Centralized-central hot water supply system.

A system that uses a centralized solar collector and a centralized hot water storage tank to supply the hot water required by one or several buildings.

2. Centralized-decentralized hot water supply system.

A system that uses centralized solar collectors and decentralized hot water storage tanks to supply the hot water needed for a building.

3. Dispersion-decentralized hot water supply system.

This is a small system that uses decentralized solar collectors and decentralized hot water storage tanks to supply the hot water needed by each user.

1. Natural circulation system.

A solar water heating system that circulates between the collector and the hot water storage tank, or between the collector and the heat exchanger, only by using the density change inside the heat transfer working fluid.

2. Forced circulation system.

A solar water heating system that uses the power provided by the pump to circulate the heat transfer working fluid through a collector (or heat exchanger).

3. DC system.

After the heat transfer working fluid flows through the collector for heating at one time, it enters the hot water storage tank or the non-circulating solar water heating system at the place where the hot water is used.

1. Direct solar water heating system.

A solar hot water heating system that heats water directly to the user in a solar collector.

2. Indirect solar water heating system.

A certain heat transfer working fluid is heated in a solar collector, and then the heat transfer working fluid is heated through a heat exchanger to the user's solar water heating system.
