Silla Static Board**.
Longyan Jingban does not use gongs and drums, mainly silk string instruments, **melodic and beautiful, the performance speed is slow, and it is particularly quiet, so it is called Jingban**. Longyan static plate was formed in 1901 at the end of the Qing Dynasty, during which the static plate gradually matured and was widely spread in the urban area and countryside of Longyan Silla.
Longyan Jingban** commonly used palace tune, sign tune, feather tune, Shang tune and horn tune music are less. Its tonality is mostly in G or F, that is, Erhu 5 2 strings, or 6 3 strings. The characteristic musical instruments of the static board ** include self-made Hu and hanging cabinets (i.e., tide cabinets). Other musical instruments include bamboo flute, sheng, mangguan, small suona, jinghu, erhu, coconut hu, sanxian, pipa, plum blossom qin, guangxian, yueqin, sanyin, dulcimer, yinhu and chowpan, small cymbals, bells, and xiaoyao (bowl gong).
There are many repertoire of Jingban**, and some of them have been lost in the course of long-term circulation. Longyan Jingban** is mainly used in weddings, birthdays, festivals, events, and opening ceremonies. The funeral is limited to the death of the members of the static band, and generally does not participate in the funeral activities. The static board is divided into two forms of performance: sitting and marching, and most of them are seated. Generally, the performance in the hall of elegance or on the stage is mainly sitting, and the participation in street and folk activities is mainly performing, and large musical instruments such as the dulcimer are not used when playing.
The Jingban ** lineage is mainly an oral transmission between master and apprentice in a country band.
