As an elderly person and a cancer patient, he did not stop his studies for a moment, continued to complete 5 social science projects, published 6 influential works such as "New Exploration of Theory", published 125 articles in more than 30 newspapers and periodicals such as "Guangming", and attended more than 10 national academic seminars. According to preliminary statistics, Lao Rong published 2 more books after the age of 60 than before the age of 604 times, 4 more articles published than before the age of 608 times, he is interpreting to the world that social science people are always young.
In addition to his busy education and research, Lao Rong often goes to universities, research institutes, party schools, and the military to give lectures to young people.
