Lixin Hall in the calligraphy and painting seal
Li Wei. My hall name "Lixin" was given by Mr. Pan Xiren, the first Renshou Rengong. Mr. Xiren's grandfather was the famous anti-Japanese general General Zhiwei Pan Wenhua, who launched the Chengdu Uprising together with Liu Wenhui and Deng Xihou. In his hometown Wengong, the general set up a famous Wenhua Middle School, and personally wrote a couplet: "May the world be on the same track and teach all beings to establish themselves." After Mr. Xiren accepted me as **, he gave me the name "Lixin". Mr. Hengqu Yun, for the heart of heaven and earth. Therefore, Mr. Xiren's gift has a true meaning and deep meaning!

"He likes to learn."
My old father, who used to work as a forest worker in Maogong, always said "he likes painting" when he mentions his son. This has always made me wonder, why would my illiterate old father be in harmony with the masterpiece "The Secret of Painting" passed down by Youcheng Maha!
Yes! I love "painting"!Loved it since childhood! My mother was also illiterate, but she could draw sketches of rural embroidery. I learned to draw these from my mother at a very young age, and these drawings are a bit like double hook line drawings in Gongbi. My second brother, who became a barefoot doctor in the production brigade, should be said to have some direct enlightenment in my "painting studies".
Once, I drew people with tree branches on the dirt floor. After the second brother changed the corners of the mouth of the person I drew slightly to an upward curve, the person smiled. It makes me feel amazing! Since then, painting has become my lifelong pursuit!
No, yes. At that time, my textbooks, homework books, and even the blank spaces of the exam papers became the main front for me to draw. The villain book has become my main teaching material. When I was a freshman in high school, I represented the Youth League branch of my class to publish a board report for the school's Youth League Committee. I drew a group of "Yixiu" from ***, which attracted the attention of several art teachers in middle school. Among them, there is a teacher He Lijian, who has a very high level of cultivation in literature and art. Teacher He's child, He Wei, is studying with Teacher Fang Xiao of the county normal school and preparing to take the American school entrance examination. Later, I learned that Mr. Fang Xiao was Mr. Xu Wuwen's **. I studied with He Wei and tried to take the Sichuan beauty exam.
After falling into "Bashan", I also went to Mr. Li Lisheng's peasant art school in Tongjiang Hongkou Pengbo Township at the foot of Daba Mountain to study Chinese painting, printmaking, drawing, paper-cutting, etc. At the school in the village of Pengbo, I met two of Mr. Xiang Silou's students, and one of them even performed the art of blowing painting with a pen holder. Mr. Lisheng's daughter, Sister Huaiyu, is now also a well-known master of paper-cutting art, and it seems that she works in the cultural center in their Tongjiang County.
The pressure of life made me give up studying in Pengbo. Later, I was admitted to Chengdu Institute of Geology. At first, I thought that if I was engaged in geology, I could sketch in the wild. Later, to the troops. Later, he changed jobs. It should be said that over the years, painting has basically been insisted on for me. In recent years, under the introduction of Wang Jianmo brothers, especially Lao Yang's eldest brother, he has met many top celebrities in the calligraphy and painting industry. Later, under the mediation of the elder brother Yang, I officially worshiped under the door of Mr. Pan Gong Xiren, a famous calligrapher and seal carver in my country. In calligraphy and painting seal carving, it can be regarded as really on the right track.
Later, under the guidance of the two eldest sisters of the famous calligraphers and painters Yang Bingyi and Wang Xiuqin, he entered the advanced research class of the Tsinghua Academy of Fine Arts, and became the founder of the Chinese Ink Plateau Snow Mountain Painting School, Mr. Li Bing.
Mr. Li Bing, the founder of the Chinese Plateau Snow Mountain School.
I majored in uranium geology, took a course called "geological sketching", went to Wuhouqi on the border between China and Mongolia for an internship, and worked in Lop Nur for more than four years after graduation. After the unloading of the armor and returning to Rong, after the "5.12" Wenchuan extraordinarily large, he was arranged by the province to Ya'an and asbestos to participate in disaster relief and reconstruction work. After Yushu**, he participated in the action of 1,000 cadres and talents of the Sichuan Provincial Party Committee and the provincial government to assist Tibet-related prefectures and counties. After Jiuzhaigou**, he was once again ordered to participate in post-disaster reconstruction and targeted poverty alleviation in Silkworm Tomb. Therefore, for me, mountains and rivers, especially snow-capped mountains, are naturally familiar in my eyes, remembered in my heart, and written on paper. I feel that my understanding of calligraphy and painting is gradually becoming a bit of a mastery.
In recent years, my landscape Chinese painting works, especially snow mountain paintings, have participated in the Sichuan Dadi Painting and Calligraphy Institute to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the peaceful liberation of the first calligraphy and painting exhibitions, to participate in the first Sichuan Province Rural Revitalization Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition, Sichuan Province's first writers, poets and poems calligraphy and painting exhibitions and other large-scale calligraphy and painting exhibitions, to participate in the people's cultural and creative "art to fight the epidemic" and other calligraphy and painting activities, joined the Sichuan oldest calligraphy and painting group - Chengdu Bingxu Jinshi Calligraphy and Painting Research Association, joined the Chengdu Artists Association, The old branch of the Sichuan Artists Association was absorbed as a creator by the Western Sichuan China, New Literati, Yujiao, Beijing Yanshan and other painting and calligraphy academies, and was elected as the director and executive secretary general of the Sichuan Dadi Painting and Calligraphy Institute, and was elected as the vice chairman of the Sichuan New Literati Painting Institute.
Longfu. "I heard that you write well".
We often say that calligraphy and painting have the same origin. Zhang Yanyuan of the Tang Dynasty said in "The Origin of Famous Paintings of the Past Dynasties" that calligraphy and painting are the same. Zhao Mengfu, a great painter and calligrapher of the Yuan Dynasty, wrote a poem on the "Self-titled Show Stone Sparse Forest Map", the stone is like flying, the white wood is like a tree, and the bamboo should also be written in eight ways; If there are people who can understand this, you must know that calligraphy and painting are the same. Therefore, we generally call the person who paints Chinese painting calligraphers and painters, and we generally call Chinese paintings calligraphy and painting or calligraphy and painting. Calligraphers and painters inscribe on Chinese painting works, and generally inscribe "so-and-so write" or "so-and-so freehand". Therefore, generally speaking, Chinese painters are basically calligraphers, and many are even seal carvers.
When I was in middle school, I won the first prize in fine arts and the second prize in calligraphy in a school painting and calligraphy competition. At that time, my teacher, Mr. Li Jian, told me that in order to draw Chinese painting well, you must first practice calligraphy. Moreover, a complete Chinese painting work also needs to be inscribed, and it is best to inscribe a poem on it, and then seal it. This is also the poetry, calligraphy, painting and printing. Since then, calligraphy has always been a part of my daily work.
After going to university in Chengdu Shilidian, under the guidance of the head teacher Luo Mei, I worked with Senior Brother Gao Shaoqing of the 85th grade of the department to design and produce a large-scale monogram for the school's college sports meeting. The words "Chengdu Institute of Geology" on the monogram are the inscription of the chairman on the school card, but this move has established my status as a "calligrapher and painter" during my university years.
When we were in college, "work-study" was all the rage in schools. Under the advocacy of Teacher Luo Mei, I set up a "calligraphy and painting group" with several students with similar interests and hobbies, painted and wrote posters for various activities of the students, published board newspapers and wall newspapers for the class and department, edited various tabloids and publications for the department and college, copied ** for students and teachers, designed and produced monograms for various conferences, etc.
But I know my words are still out the door. Therefore, when the school's teachers He Jie and Zhang Weilong and Wang Xiaochen, who was in the eighth and sixth grades, held a calligraphy class, they signed up. Teacher He Jie, who is from the school museum, seems to be doing teaching wall charts and other work, the drawings are good, the printing is good, and the characters are naturally written well. The cursive writing of Mr. Zhang Weilong is very good. Senior Brother Xiaochen's style and behavior are good. At that time, most of the newspapers and mastheads of many colleges and departments in the school were inscribed by Senior Brother Xiaochen. What is very heart-wrenching is that during the epidemic, Senior Brother Xiaochen, who has changed his name to Ziming, has passed away! Amitabha!
In this calligraphy class, it can be regarded as a certain foundation for my future painting. One thing that makes me even happier is that the monogram of our graduation party was designed and produced by Wang Wanning, a student from the Department of Social Sciences. In order to hold the party the next night as scheduled, I worked overtime all night to design, write, engraving, and type, and stayed up all night. At the party, while sitting in the school auditorium and enjoying the wonderful program, I looked at the monogram hanging on the stage that was designed and made by myself, and my heart was naturally a little beautiful.
After I returned to Shudu from Loulan, at the commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the school's "Taqing Literature Club" and "Campus Forum" magazine, the calligraphy I wrote on the commemorative bag once again excited and moved my brothers and sisters. As soon as my brothers and sisters saw me, they said, "Our editor is back."
In the army, I was originally engaged in technology, working in the research laboratory. Later, the political department came to me for advice and asked him if he would like to work in the political department, because "I heard that you can write well." It turned out that I was recommended to the leaders of the Political Department by Senior Brother Li Wenxue, who had been familiar with me since I was in college, and who led me to the army. After arriving at the Political Department, calligraphy and painting naturally became "work". But my real introduction to calligraphy was after I was taught by Mr. Pan Xiren. Under the careful guidance of **, starting from Shimen, Li Bi, and Wang Duo's holy religion. As China's famous calligrapher Deng Dai Kunshi said, "Li Wei's things are going to be won now."
Over the years, I have been invited to participate in calligraphy activities such as the kilometer-long scroll writing of the Western Security Games and the Sichuan Provincial Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition, and my calligraphy works have been selected into the first national "Dayu Cup" Calligraphy and Painting Photography Contest Collection, and have joined Chengdu, Jinjiang and other calligraphy associations.

Straight from the outside. "I've never broken the engraving."
Whenever someone asks me when I started carving, I always say, "I've never broken engraving" since middle school. It's been more than 40 years now.
We often say poetry, calligraphy, painting and printing. It probably means that a literati, chanting poems and inscriptions, and painting seals are all his norms. We know that Qi Baishi is famous for his engraving and painting. But the old man Baishi boasted that his poems were the first, the seal was the second, the words were the third, and the painting was the fourth. Therefore, poetry, calligraphy, painting and printing are very important things for a literati and a calligrapher and painter.
When I first started drawing, I couldn't speak. So, I began to learn words. Later, after knowing that the painting had to be inscribed, it had to be stamped. So, he began to teach himself seal carving.
First of all, I carved it for myself. After being seen by the classmates, the classmates let them engrave it one after another. In the early days, the carving knife I used was made by grinding the scrap hacksaw blade used by the adults in the family, wrapping the other end with a strip of cloth, and then tying it with hemp rope. This kind of carving knife on the horse is actually very easy to use and very sharp.
Later, after going to school in Chengdu, I once saw a screen of Mr. He Jie in the school museum, which couldn't help but greatly stimulate my interest in seal carving.
I went to geology and majored in working with stones. In a practical class in crystalline mineralogy, I saw pyrophyllite, the rough stone used to make printing stones, so I asked the teacher for a small piece, grinded it into a small printing stone, and then carved a seal with the pen name "Ermu" for myself. I have always treasured this seal. From school, to the foot of the Tianshan Mountains, and back to Chengdu.
At that time, several cardboard boxes consigned from Chengdu East Railway Station to Xinjiang, although they thought they were relatively strong, but after arriving at the army, they were all scattered, and many of the seals caught in them were lost. Fortunately, this small seal is still there, and it has been witnessing my thousands of kilometers of gold and stone calligraphy and painting for more than 40 years.
A few years ago, WeChat flourished. Many classmates and comrades-in-arms in the group and circle, the first reaction to me was, "I still have the mark you carved for me."
A middle school classmate, named Streitmatter-Tran, works as a village cadre in the village. Once when I went back to my hometown, I sat down with a friend and classmate from the same village who was even a relative. Deliang told me that the seal engraved for him back then is still in use.
A senior brother named Yan Aiguo. When he was in the army, this excellent senior brother was favored by a military academy in his hometown, and in the process of handling the transfer, there was a little problem. Later, the whole incident was complicated. While waiting for the solution, my brother asked me to engrave a seal for him with the "River Luopu Flow". Now that I think about it, I admire this senior brother very much, and I feel that he really has the realm of his ancestor Fusheng Yanzi "living in the alley" and "not changing his happiness".
After carving seals for decades, when I thought I could do it well, I met my mentor, Mr. Seokin. Before the formal apprenticeship, there was a little argument with the master on the understanding of seal carving. ** Said, Yin Zong Qin and Han, oracle bones, etc. are best not to enter the seal. So, I found a lot of information printed with oracle bones and sent it to Mr. Xiren, who later became my **. So much so that ** was very "angry" and said to Big Brother Yang, "Oh! This baby is going to turn the sky upside down! "Huh!
Mr. Pan Xiren, a famous calligrapher and seal carver.
Although, ** later said to me, just rush to this, "I like you". To engage in art, you must have your own views and pursuits! However, the most important thing in art, especially our Chinese art, is to inherit, to keep the integrity and innovation from the words and deeds of the first, and to continue the cultural context. After entering the shade hall on the rootless mountain in Chongzhou, adhering to the teachings of "entering the seal with the book" and "entering the painting with the book", he followed the left and right, daily post, every day to govern the seal, and always practiced painting, and felt that he had made rapid progress in calligraphy and painting, especially seal carving, and achieved certain results.
In the past few years, my seal carving works have participated in the Sichuan Literati Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition, the Chengdu-Chongqing Calligraphy and Painting Art Exhibition and other calligraphy and painting seal carving exhibitions, and joined the Chengdu High-tech Calligraphy and Painting Seal Carving Association and other organizations.
Or rather, Li Wei is an all-rounder. In the eyes of my friends, I am a poet, a writer, and have published some poetry and prose collections; He is a visiting professor at Xi'an University of Foreign Affairs, an editor of Sichuan Culture Network, and the director of the Theory Office of Xu Beihong and Zhang Daqian Art Research Institute in West China.
But, I know, artistically, theoretically, literally, never-ending! The road is long, and we should continue to improve!
