Li Shangyin. Author:Li Shangyin (c. 813, c. 858), the name Yishan, Yuxi (谿) Sheng, Fan Nansheng, a famous poet of the Tang Dynasty, his ancestral home was Qinyang, Hanoi (now Jiaozuo City, Henan Province), and was born in Xingyang, Zhengzhou.

Xiang was unwell at night and drove to the ancient plains.

The sunset is infinitely better, just near dusk.

At dusk, because the poet was in a bad mood, he drove to the Leyou Plain to look. Leyou was originally built by Emperor Xuan of the Han Dynasty in memory of his deceased wife, Empress Xu, and later became a tourist attraction in the Tang Dynasty. But the poet ascended to the original at this moment not to enjoy the beautiful scenery, but to dispel his melancholy.

The sunset is infinitely better, just near dusk. This is the most praised sentence in the whole poem. The poet describes the sunset with infinite goodness, and unexpectedly sighs that it is only near dusk, so that the poet's thoughts and feelings are integrated into the beautiful scenery of dusk, which is both intriguing and enlightening.

The language of this poem is as clear as words, and the artistic conception is bright and picturesque. But savoring it, it is subtle and far-reaching. The poet's lament for the passage of time and the resulting anguish of the twilight of life are cleverly contained in the description of the scene, which is not directly lyrical, but lyrical.

Poetic Scenes:

The afterglow of dusk sprinkled over the ancient plains, and I drove here, and my heart drifted. The sunset in front of me is picturesque, but with a touch of sorrow and regret. On this tranquil ancient plain, I savor the vicissitudes of time alone.

Watching the sunset gradually sink in the west, my thoughts fluctuated. Beautiful things are always ephemeral, like the splendor of this sunset. However, its beauty has been deeply imprinted in my heart and has become an eternal light in my soul.

In the afterglow of dusk, I felt life and understood to cherish the moment. Let's enjoy this beautiful sunset and feel the warmth and strength it brings us.
