Since the cooperation with Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts in 2022, Liaoyuan Bilingual has invited university professional teachers to the Liaoyuan campus to broaden the channels for campus aesthetic education, cultivating students' artistic literacy, and understanding the frontiers of the art field in the form of lectures and classes. This semester, Liaoyuan Bilingual Primary School, Junior High School, and High China respectively carried out research activities of "Animation Liaoyuan", "Mecha Liaoyuan" and "Self-Burning Plain", and organized students to walk into the campus of Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts, feel the atmosphere of the university, and at the same time follow the professors and tutors to really learn relevant courses and create works. Through the three-day immersive experience and practice, students can truly understand the art-related industry, stimulate interest and thinking, and plan their art career. Since the "Liaoyuan" research activity was successfully held at the Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts, Liaoyuan High China Internal High.

A total of 30 students and parents from the first and second grades participated in the event. We visited the picturesque campus, art workshops, listened to expert lectures, learned about the latest developments and achievements in the field of new art, and learned the skills of short production, photography and shooting.

While fully feeling the charm of art, the students devoted themselves to creation, giving full play to their imagination, capturing the beautiful moments in life, and creating a series of excellent short and photographic works.

Under the guidance of the lecturer of the Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts, the students visited all the venues and laboratories of the campus and the training center of the School of Visual Arts. The students were deeply impressed by the big-eyed architecture on campus, the ancient charm of the Zhuangyuan Building, and the modern technology of the laboratory building. Through the explanation, the students learned about the academic atmosphere, humanistic atmosphere, intellectual charm of Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts, as well as various places such as the university's studios and libraries, which stimulated their expectations and yearning for the future university.

Subsequently, the students were divided into six groups and began to learn and practice mecha making. The mecha design team first showed the students their work, including the Zodiac mecha and more. These mecha creations are not only creative and aesthetically pleasing, but also have practical functions that allow students to have a deeper understanding of mechas. Next, the teacher introduced the history of mecha to the students, and let them understand the characteristics and significance of famous mecha such as Gundam, Astro Boy, and Transformers. After learning the basics of mechas, the students began to make companion and help mechas. They work in groups for design and engineering, and they are constantly discussing, collaborating, and solving problems together. Their design drawings were approved by the teachers and laid a solid foundation for the next production.

After a day of intense study and production, the students reported on the mecha production results in the afternoon of the second day. Each group sent representatives to the stage to give presentations on their mech design concepts, production processes, and problems encountered and solutions. This session was an excellent experience for the students' teamwork and presentation skills, and also allowed them to experience the joy and sense of accomplishment of creation.

This research trip is a successful attempt by Liaoyuan Bilingual to cooperate with Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts. Through the event, students were able to go out on the university campus and experience the charm of the Arts & Sciences program, broadening their horizons and knowledge.
