The spring-loaded regulator features a three-piece body construction made of stainless steel with sealing materials such as NBR, EPDM, FKM and PTFE-coated diaphragm materials, making the regulator resistant to almost any flowing medium or environmental influence.
The pressure reducer is available in 3 housing sizes and can be precisely designed to the desired pressure flow performance:
The Type 01 housing is designed for flow rates up to 1,000 litre hours and pressures of 1 bar
The Type 03 housing has a maximum flow rate of 4000 litres per hour and a pressure of 1 bar
The Type 05 housing has a flow rate of 7,500 litre-hours and a pressure of 1 bar.
Function. The outgoing working pressure is present under the diaphragm and acts as a reaction force for the spring assembly mounted and preloaded in the atmospheric ventilation housing.
When the compressive force of the outflow medium exceeds the spring force, the seat of the pressure reducer closes the flow.
As long as there are no withdrawals on the withdrawal end, this item will be retained. By removing it, the force under the diaphragm is reduced, and the larger spring force opens the seat seal.
Set up. The pressure reducer is always kept in place when set, i.e. the pressure gauge shows static pressure.
Increased discharge pressure:
Rotate the adjustment screw clockwise.
Reduced discharge pressure:
Turn the adjustment screw counterclockwise. Remove some of the media and reduce the pressure. Then tighten the adjusting screw to the desired pressure.
It is normal for the pressure to drop during the media extraction, which is due to pressure loss.
How the pressure reducer works.
The pressure reducer is a pressure reducing valve group that ensures that the pressure on the output side (back pressure) remains constant even if the pressure on the inlet side (inlet pressure) increases.
As a result, the pressure reducing valve has an important control function and ensures a high level of process reliability.
Back pressure acts as control pressure. It passes through the diaphragm or underneath the piston, and the movement of the diaphragm or piston causes the pressure reducer to close or open.
The increase in pressure on the outlet side causes the closing motion of the pressure reducing valve. The required back pressure is set by means of a preload spring. The spring force cancels out the movement of the diaphragm or piston.
Advantages of end-armaturen pressure reducers.
Fast availability of the special design, as the development, production, assembly and quality control are 100% "Made in Germany".
Compact design with no dirty corners and edges.
A high-quality surface coating is standard, and electropolishing is also available upon request.
Worth. Thanks to the coordinated spring kit, the reproducibility of the set medium pressure is high.
Optimized internal design for high flow and low pressure drop.
Wide range of connectivity options, especially for the food and pharmaceutical industries.
Also available for very low pressure ranges: 005bar outlet pressure.
Features at a glance. End-Armaturen's spring-loaded pressure reducing valves are made of stainless steel with sealing materials such as PTFE, EPDM, FKM and PTFE-coated diaphragm materials.
This makes the regulator resistant to almost all flowing media and environmental influences. The small dead space also makes it particularly suitable for the food industry.
Pressure reducers are installed in liquid and gas pipelines to ensure the correct medium pressure and ensure a safe process. Pressure reducing valves are now used in various fields.
For example, pressure reducing valves can be used in process engineering, industrial plants, or plant construction.
