In the life of the last emperor Pu Yi, there were five wives. Each of these five women has different destinies and life trajectories. Next, I will give a brief introduction to the basic situation of each wife. 
First of all, it is Pu Yi's first wife, the filial piety of the queen Wanrong. She was born in a famous family in Nehe, Heilongjiang, China, and is a standard famous lady. On March 10, 1922, Wanrong, who was only 16 years old, was elected empress and became Pu Yi's legal wife. However, her fate was not as glorious as her origin. In that turbulent era, Wanrong experienced many hardships and misfortunes. In 1946, Wanrong died quietly in a small town in Jilin at the age of 40. The second wife is Concubine Wenxiu. Wen Xiu was also a Manchu woman, born into the Erdet family. On March 10, 1922, Wenxiu was named a concubine. However, her married life was not happy, and she eventually divorced Pu Yi in 1931. After the divorce, Wenxiu lived an ordinary life and died in 1953 at the age of 59. 
The third wife is Mingxian Guifei Tan Yuling. Tan Yuling was the daughter of the Manchu Tatara clan and was made a nobleman in 1937. Tan Yuling and Pu Yi had a more harmonious love life, but unfortunately, she died in 1942 at the age of 26. The fourth wife is Li Yuqin, a blessed nobleman. Li Yuqin was a Han woman who was made a noble in 1942. Her married life with Pu Yi was not happy, and she finally divorced in 1957. After the divorce, Li Yuqin lived an ordinary life and died in 2001 at the age of 73. 
The last wife was Lee Sook-hyun. Li Shuxian is a Han woman who married Pu Yi in 1962 and was his last wife. After Pu Yi's death, Li Shuxian chose to live in seclusion and died in 1997 at the age of 78.
