Twin screw extrusion granulator is a commonly used plastic processing equipment, which is mainly used to extrude plastic raw materials through twin screws and process them into granular plastic particles. In the process of use, sometimes there will be some failures, which need to be dealt with in time to ensure the normal operation and production efficiency of the equipment. The following is a brief introduction to some common faults and treatment methods of twin-screw extrusion granulators:
1. Twin screw extruder plugging: In the process of using twin screw extruder, it is easy to cause twin-screw extruder blockage due to too large raw materials or too fast feeding. At this time, the machine should be stopped in time, the extruder should be turned on to clear the blockage, and then the equipment should be started again.
2. Leakage of twin-screw extruder: The connection or seal of the extruder pipeline is not tight, which may lead to the leakage of the extruder. When leakage is found, it should be stopped immediately for inspection to ensure that all pipes are tightly connected and the seals are intact to avoid the loss of plastic raw materials.
3. Abnormal temperature of the twin-screw extruder: During the working process of the twin-screw extruder, the appropriate working temperature needs to be set according to the requirements of different raw materials. If the temperature is too high or too low, the temperature parameters on the control panel should be adjusted in time to keep them within the normal working temperature range.
4. Low output of twin-screw extruder: When it is found that the output of the extruder is low, it may be caused by the rapid feeding of raw materials or the damage to the internal structure of the twin-screw extruder. At this time, it should be checked one by one according to the situation, clean up the impurities inside the equipment in time, and make maintenance adjustments to improve the production efficiency of the extruder.
