Authentic records before the retrofit.
The old house has undergone a huge layout change and an indescribably highly saturated reddish-pink renovation.
The designer decided to retain only the outline of the original building, integrating modern and classical soft furnishing elements to reconstruct the living atmosphere and functional needs of the space.
The original unit was 90 with two bedrooms, two living rooms, one kitchen and one bathroom, which belonged to the residence of a young couple.
Problems with the original house type:
1. The dining room is small and located on the only circulation line leading to other spaces in the home, which is crowded and chaotic.
2. The kitchen area is limited, which cannot meet the needs of operation and walking.
3. There are too many partitions in the bathroom, resulting in insufficient lighting.
The designer expanded the advantages of the house by replanning the structure of the house. By changing the position of the door opening of the second bedroom, the circulation of the dining room area was diverted; Using the area of the second bedroom, the refrigerator is embedded in the homeopathic situation, which solves the problem of kitchen space; Removing redundant partition walls in the restrooms increased internal lighting and provided more space for the dining room.
Living room. The living room is decorated in neutral tones to create a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Considering the small space, the designer canceled the traditional TV background wall to maximize the space.
According to the spatial structure, the common curtain box design was canceled and replaced by Roman rods to make the wall more charming. Large windows open up the light channels in the room, using natural light to create a sense of transparency and create a warm home space.
The sofa is backed against the wall to maximize space. The caramel-coloured sofa neutralizes the coolness of neutral tones and brings a strong retro feel.
The whole room is paved with fishbone parquet flooring, and the common threshold stones are eliminated, making the connection smoother and improving the overall sense of space.
The TV backdrop is decorated with art paintings of various sizes, creating a gallery feel. The second-hand chest of drawers not only increases the storage space, but also adds a laid-back and comfortable atmosphere to the space.

Two different styles of black dining chairs are sharply shaped and matched with the tone-on-tone dining table, reducing the footprint and making the surrounding walking room more spacious.

Due to the limited width of the dining room, the designer canceled the traditional sideboard setting and created an entire alcove, which not only increased the storage space of the dining area, but also fully expressed the unique taste of the owner.

To enhance the connection between the dining room and the kitchen, the kitchen door was chosen with a more flexible frosted glass sliding door. This not only provides convenient access to the kitchen, but also effectively insulates the kitchen fumes.
