Tottenham Hotspur was out of luck and was beaten at home by Wolves!

Tottenham Hotspur lost away to Wolves and dropped to fifth.

On the evening of February 17, Tottenham Hotspur and Wolves played the final showdown of 25 rounds. Despite Spel's home advantage, they failed to capitalise on it and lost 2-1 and dropped to fifth place in the league.

In the first half, the offensive rhythm of both sides was constantly disrupted, and there were many fouls on both sides. Hwang Hee-chan missed a great chance to shoot on goal, while Richarlison knocked down the opposition duo within three seconds and scored from a corner kick, which made Tottenham's defence very tight. The wolves took advantage of the opportunity, and Gomez's top shot gave them the victory.

In the second half, the Spers team desperately needed to tie the game. Kuru returned with a goal soon after scoring to level the outcome of the game. However, two goals from Gomes helped Wolves win the game. Tottenham could only sigh after losing 2-1 away from home.

For Tottenham, the defeat was clearly a heavy blow. The team has dropped to 5th in the league and is 2 points behind Villa in 4th. In this competitive Super League, this point difference could cost them the title and a place in Europe at the end of the season.

The defeat to Tottenham showed the irregularities of their backline and their players. What we have to do now is improve our defence and allow the players to adapt to the future games. It's been a tough time for the fans, but they're still looking forward to seeing them bounce back from the slump and play better.
