According to foreign media reports, a French tourist recently went to Diamond Pit Park in Arkansas, USA to hunt for treasure, and was lucky to dig up a 746 carats of diamonds.
It is reported that the tourist went to the United States to launch the "Peregrine Falcon" lunar lander at Cape Canaveral Space Force Base in Florida. After the launch, he heard from a friend about Diamond Crater Park in Arkansas and decided to go on a treasure hunt. He entered the park at around 9 a.m., rented a basic kit, and began searching for diamonds in the muddy fields after heavy rain, saying that "it was a tiring job." After searching for a few hours, he took some stones that he thought might be diamonds to the park's "Diamond Distribution Center" for identification, and found a 746 carats of dark brown diamonds.
The park said it was the eighth largest diamond ever found since its establishment in 1972. He plans to split it in two and send his fiancée and daughter.
There was a volcanic passage 95 million years ago under Diamond Cratter Park in Arkansas, and when the volcano erupted, diamonds were thrown into the upper part of the lava, so there are a lot of diamonds under the park. In 1906, the owner of the land discovered the first diamond, sparking a "diamond digging fever". In 1972, the state of Arkansas** bought the land and set up a park to allow the public to search for diamonds in an orderly manner. At present, people have found more than 750,000 diamonds.
