The martyr's little radish head family members are prosperous, and their brothers and sisters are the pillars
On September 6, 1949, Chiang Kai-shek secretly instructed the spy leader Zhou Yanghao to take advantage of Yang Hucheng's trust to lure Yang Hucheng to the "Dai Gong Ancestral Hall" in Songlinpo, Chongqing, where he was killed.
In the disaster of Songlinpo, in addition to General Yang Hucheng, there are also his beloved son Yang Zhengzhong and Yang Zhenggui, the pearl in his palm. In addition, his close secretaries Song Qiyun, Xu Linxia and his wife, and their young son Song Zhenzhong also suffered this fate.
Although Song Qiyun and Xu Linxia appeared as Yang Hucheng's confidential secretaries, they were actually loyal Communist Party members. Their child, Song Zhenzhong, is known as the smallest revolutionary martyr in the Republic.
Little Radish Head's life was full of ups and downs, he was only 8 months old when he was arrested by the Kuomintang military commanders with his parents, and his childhood was spent in prison.
Song Zhenzhong's childhood was not ordinary, he spent it in the White Mansion, the Dregs Cave and the Xifeng Prison. For a lively and active child, the outside world is so far away and so desirable.
However, Song Zhenzhong and his parents were held in this creepy place, isolated from the outside world. Until one day, a little girl named Li Bitao came to the prison. The two quickly became good friends because of their similar age.
Li Bitao was later rescued by the People's Liberation Army and became one of the few survivors of the White Mansion. Decades later, she still vividly remembers a conversation with Song Zhenzhong, which is an unforgettable memory in her life.
In a chat, Song Zhenzhong asked Li Bitao about the situation in the outside world, and his eyes were full of yearning and longing for the outside world. Although Li Bitao was not very old at that time, she described to Song Zhenzhong the various food and entertainment facilities in the outside world, which sounded very attractive.
However, Song Zhenzhong sighed lightly after listening to it, and he took out half a pencil from his pocket, which was a gift from General Huang Xiansheng, a famous anti-Japanese patriotic general. He whispered to Li Bitao that he hoped to go out to school and learn more, and he firmly believed that the arrival of the People's Liberation Army would save them.
On the eve of the founding of the People's Republic of China, Chiang Kai-shek, in order to flee to Taiwan, ordered the killing of General Yang Hucheng and Song Qiyun's family. Many years later, Li Bitao, who was in his eighties, recalled this scene in an interview and still couldn't help crying: "He hasn't even tasted sugar, he has never eaten sugar in his life!" ”
Probably only those who have experienced it first-hand can understand the meaning of this sentence. After the spies killed them, they also poured their bodies with nitrate water and buried them in the guardhouse next to the "Dai Gong Ancestral Hall" and in the flower beds.
On November 30, 1949, Chongqing was liberated, and Yang Qindian, a spy who participated in the murder of Yang Hucheng and others, voluntarily surrendered, revealing in detail how Yang Hucheng and Song Qiyun's family were killed.
With the assistance of Yang Qindian, we finally found the bodies of Yang Hucheng and others, which made everyone present unable to hold back tears. What is particularly touching is that when Song Zhenzhong sacrificed, he still held the half of the pencil given to him by General Huang Xiansheng tightly.
After the founding of the People's Republic of China, Song Zhenzhong was posthumously recognized as a revolutionary martyr and became the youngest martyr of the Republic. His heroic deeds have been written into textbooks and have influenced countless people, including me.
Song Zhenzhong has an elder brother and four older sisters, all of whom have thrived under the care of the party, some have become engineers, some have become teachers, and some have joined the army, all of whom have become the pillars of the country.
Now, our country is prosperous and strong, and the people live comfortably and happily and enjoy a good life. All this was bought by the revolutionary martyrs with their lives. Their sacrifices are the source of our happy life, and their contributions will always be remembered by us.
