The orderly Lushan County is located in the western part of the Chengdu Plain in Sichuan Province and has a long history of more than 2,000 years. According to the record of "Taiping Huanyu Ji", this was once the territory of the famous ancient Qin Road - "Yan Dao", and then because Jiang Wei, a military general who was active in Shu, set up a city here, so in the Sui and Tang dynasties, the county seat was rebuilt on the old site he left behind, and it was renamed Lushan County, which shows the origin of the name of the county seat. Interestingly, according to the records of the Yuezhou Jianhu Tu Scholars Association, the people living in this land still retain their respect for the ancient hero Jiang Boyo, and they enshrine the statue of this figure in a temple called "Pingxiang". Some people believe that this is the Pingxiang Town in the "Romance of the Three Kingdoms", because this town is only a few steps away from Pingxiang Mountain in the Western Han Dynasty.
According to Sima Qian's "Huayang National Chronicles", the "Enlightened King of Shu" once set up a palace here. In addition, some other historical materials also further confirm that the pass fortress area - "Lingmin Mountain" is located in the north side of the county 20 kilometers, where it is famous for its steep mountains and steep peaks, and there are narrow and long mountain gorges at the foot of the mountain, which are wide and three zhang, and are 200 steps long, and the local residents commonly call it "Chongmin".
What makes people marvel is that the living water preserved here now - "Lunu River", originated from the primitive Qiang residential area, the water flow quickly entered the ground and converged into a beautiful river - "Futu River", the Futu River gathered in the county border five miles, the river water is clear and clear to the bottom, and there is a shape like a pagoda-like rock at the bottom of the river, so it is named "Futu River". Folklore has it that if you're lucky, you might even see the mysterious Buddha-like stone in the water suddenly leaping up from the river.
Another reliable source** said that Longtou Mountain in Lushan County is located on the outskirts of the city, surrounded by mountains, with beautiful scenery, like a vigorous dragon sitting in the middle, becoming an important barrier to water and land transportation, making this former imperial hinterland firmly controlled. In addition, the explorers' notes mentioned a pagoda-shaped mountain called "Yabo Mountain", and the mountain towers into the sky as if it were reaching straight into the clouds, making it difficult to fathom its depth.
Shenzhou Zhi Tired Record" mentions that the original "Jiangbei Ancient Canal" fell into the Pingqiang River of Yazhou Waterway under Longtou Mountain, in addition to the multi-functional "Duogong River" and the "Longtou Mountain" recorded in the "Yutu Zhi", the historical background of this place can be traced back to the distant pre-Qin era. Legend has it that Fan Min of the Han Dynasty was buried here, his tomb was in the south of Lushan County, there were two stone horses in front, and the stele next to Mr. checked and found that this was actually a stele engraved with "Han Dynasty Bajun Taishou Fan Mansion Tomb", the construction time was about March of the tenth year of Jian'an, and the stele that imitated Fan Min began to be counted during the Cultural Revolution.
Finally, there is an interesting fact, scholars have found that Zhao Mingcheng, a famous person in the Song Dynasty, was very interested in these stone tablets and historical tombs, and wrote two books, "Shunzong Taitan" and "Jinshi Lu", which describe those inscriptions and historical stories in detail. One of the poems depicts the verses written by Fan Min after his retirement, "The ancestor Yu Fan was an official in the Wu State, leaving his bones behind, and the fortunes of the country were flourishing, and my descendants and descendants threw themselves into the rivers and lakes to tread the treacherous immortals, and the hard work of a lifetime was only to inherit the legacy of the ancestors." The Zhou civil government was prosperous, and Bo's internal strength gradually grew after the recent past, and the Han King respected the new leader and worked together to create brilliance. After the division of Jin, Wu, Jin and Wei, the state herdsmen gathered to attack Wu, and we and other common people were enlightened by the scholars and received the teachings of benevolence, righteousness, etiquette and wisdom.
