"Ready, let's go! At 9 o'clock on February 8, in the Guangzhou South EMU, with a shout, a EMU wheelset was lifted by the equipment, and then rotated at high speed, and the blades on the equipment slowly cut the wheelset tread, and suddenly sparks splashed, and iron filings fell on the protective cover like raindrops.
Chen Shaomian watched intently through the glass of the protective cover, and muttered: "The wheel is in good condition, and this wheelset will be 'freshly baked' immediately." ”
Chen Shaomian is an EMU mechanic at Guangzhou South EMU of Guangzhou EMU Depot, specializing in the wheel work of EMUs. Every 200,000 kilometers or so of the EMU runs, the worn wheels need to be polished and other repairs to ensure the smooth operation of the wheelset, and this process is the wheel.
The wheelset is the 'foot' of the EMU, and the wheel is the 'foot' of the EMU, so that the EMU can run fast and steady. Chen Shaomian said. During the Spring Festival, a large number of EMUs were put into operation, and the Guangzhou EMU depot, as a high-speed rail maintenance base, faced heavy maintenance tasks, and on the same day, Chen Shaomian needed 20 pairs of wheels.
Machinery roared, fires flickered, and the temperature near the turbine approached 40, filling the air with the smell of burning metal. Chen Shaomian's forehead was covered with beads of sweat, and he stared at the rotating wheelset seriously, his face flushed and shiny under the reflection of the firelight. To ensure that the wheelset speed was not affected, every 10 minutes, he would push open the protective shield and carefully use the iron hook to remove the iron filings from the wheel, and the sparks would jump and fall beside him.
At 10 o'clock, Chen Shaomian put the wheelset in good gear and began to test the data of the wheelset. He raised his hands flat, put the end of the measuring instrument on the wheelset tread, the number on the measuring instrument changed, Chen Shaomian calmed down, slowed down his breathing, and finally measured the qualified data.
Manual wheelset measurement is a delicate job, and the value should be accurate to 01 mm, can't go wrong. After measuring the data, Chen Shaomian rubbed his arm. The wheelset measuring instrument weighs 15 kilograms, and every time he measures, Chen Shaomian has to hold the measuring instrument for more than 10 minutes.
At 11:30, Chen Shaomian had just finished his work when a hurried call came from the walkie-talkie: "Master Chen, there is a problem with the state of the turbine, and you need to come over to help!" ”
Received, come right away. Chen Shaomian ran to the turbine and found that the turbine was shaking violently, accompanied by a buzzing sound. Chen Shaomian pressed his hand on the lathe, staring at the wheelset with his eyes straight and frowning.
It should be that the inside of the machine is too dry, add lubricating oil, and one trick can be effective! After thinking for a while, Chen Shaomian judged the problem, and then took out the lubricating oil and poured it into the machine, and the vibration frequency of the equipment really decreased, and slowly returned to normal.
Chen Shaomian has been engaged in wheelset repair work since 1997, and has been working for 27 years. Whether it is Dongfeng 3, Shaoshan 9 trains, or Harmony and Fuxing EMUs, he is very handy and has accumulated rich work experience.
Master Chen is our 'textbook' here, everyone comes to him when they have problems, and he can find out the problem at once. Chen Peng, a mechanic of the EMU of Guangzhou South EMU, said.
At about 18 o'clock, Chen Shaomian finished the last wheelset of the day, took off the heavy protective eye mask, touched the strangulation marks on the bridge of his nose, and said with a smile: "After a day's wheel, the nasal cavity is full of rust smell, and now these EMUs are safe enough." ”
