Fiji's Acting Prime Minister Kamicamiga said on February 2 that Fiji is grateful to China for its selfless help and valuable support, firmly adhering to the one-China principle, and injecting new impetus into the comprehensive strategic partnership of mutual respect and common development between Fiji and China.

On the same day, Luo Zhaohui, Administrator of the China International Development Cooperation Agency, met with Fijian Prime Minister Cami Camiga at the Prime Minister's Office in Suva, the capital of Fiji, to sign relevant cooperation documents and meet with reporters. Kamicamiga spoke highly of China's development achievements and said that Chinese-style modernization has provided a new development option for developing countries, including Fiji. Fiji looks forward to learning from China's experience in governance, deepening practical cooperation in various fields, actively supporting and participating in the Belt and Road Initiative, the Global Development Initiative and other major initiatives put forward by the President, and benefiting from China's development.

Luo Zhaohui said that China attaches great importance to China-Fiji relations, appreciates Fiji's adherence to the one-China principle, and is willing to work with Fijian to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, promote the Belt and Road Initiative and the Global Development Initiative with high quality, and contribute to building a community with a shared future for mankind. China is ready to continue to provide assistance to the best of its ability for Fiji's economic and social development, deepen practical cooperation in agriculture, infrastructure and education, and carry out more "small but beautiful" livelihood projects.

During the visit, Luo Zhaohui also met with Deputy Prime Minister Prasad and Permanent Secretary Raisi to inspect China's Juncao Technology Demonstration Center in the Pacific Island Countries and other aided projects.
