At the Mobile Communications Barcelona (MWC) Congress 2024 in Barcelona, Spain, from February 26 to February 29, 2024, Fujitsu will showcase how it is "connecting the world for a sustainable future" through a range of innovative network technologies, AI use cases, and delivering transformative Fujitsu advanced products to customers and society.

Fujitsu will present AI-enhanced network technologies that are critical to Open RAN deployments, including 5G virtual wireless base stations and optical transmission systems, as well as a variety of real-world use cases and demonstrations.

The technology demonstration will showcase Fujitsu's initiatives for the 6G era and preview the next generation of innovative solutions in development, including a high-performance, low-power Fujitsu MONAKA (codename) processor scheduled to hit the market in 2027. Fujitsu will also demonstrate how generative AI can support business products such as ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) management platforms that support business and social sustainability decision-making, as well as other AI use cases and solutions.

Fujitsu's vision for the future is to realize a sustainable world, and Fujitsu will contribute to the realization of Sustainability Transformation (SX) together with customers by developing network technologies using artificial intelligence.

The main exhibition areas include:

AI Zone:In addition to introducing Fujitsu Kozuchi's latest applications, Fujitsu will also showcase its VisionAI technology for real-time, high-precision tracking.

Premium Zone:Demonstrates how ESG management platforms can leverage data to help achieve optimal ESG management from both financial and non-financial perspectives to maximize value, collect and visualize data, and implement recommendations needed for management decisions, and support decision-making through interactive analysis and simulation using generative AI.

Connection Area:

Solutions that use proprietary technologies, including generative AI, greatly simplify network operations, come up with the root cause of failures, and the basis for suggested responses from different domain knowledge datasets;

multi-platform VRAN solutions to support communication services and AI use cases;

ORAN-compliant RU solutions that work with AI-driven applications for high performance and low power consumption;

The 1finity optical transmission system realizes the low-latency, high-capacity, low-power all-photonic network required for artificial intelligence applications;

Digital twin technology supports an automated and efficient network operations lifecycle.
