Why is there no Buddha statue enshrined in the Daxiong Treasure Hall of Yangqi Temple?

Yangqi Ordinary Temple, the industry is very famous, is one of the five sects of Chinese Buddhism and seven schools of Zen Rinzai Zen Yang Qi school birthplace, it is said that every year there are believers from Japan and Taiwan come from thousands of miles away.

During the Spring Festival, the sun is very good, and everyone has not been to the famous Yangqi Temple in their hometown. Taking advantage of the sunshine, we drove up the mountain.

The mountain road is rugged, and there are bamboos on both sides of the mountains. Some time ago, there was heavy snow in the mountains, and many bamboos were brittle and lodging, and there was still a small amount of residual snow at the foot of the shady mountain.

The road to enter the temple is narrow, and there are many people who go to pray for blessings, so the traffic jam is quite serious. Just a few kilometers of mountain roads have been blocked. We stopped halfway down the road and walked to it.

The architectural style of the Daxiong Treasure Hall imitates the Tang Dynasty, and it is said that the Tang Dynasty is the Tang Dynasty that has been handed down after the mountain.

In front of the Daxiong Treasure Hall, there is a huge incense burner, and the believers who ask for incense make a wish here.

Strangely, the Mahavira Hall in other temples is usually dedicated to Shakyamuni. But here in Yangqi Temple, it is empty, and there are no Buddha statues (could it be that the small Buddha statues on the middle table are enshrined?). )。In the middle, there is only ** for pilgrims to use, and I didn't understand who the pilgrims want to kneel on ** and kowtow to.

There is no Buddha statue in the Daxiong Treasure Hall, but it is the first time I have seen it.
