The European RMR Group A competition ended in the early hours of this morning, and 8 teams have advanced to the Copenhagen Major and 3 teams have entered the European play-offs.
European Regional RMR
The European RRR is the most watched competition in the three divisions, with the most big teams, the most star players, the longest tournament schedule, the highest level of competition and the most promotion places. 17 of the 32 European teams will advance to the Copenhagen Major over the course of 10 days. Whether it is the king of traffic or the grassroots army, it will be tested in Bucharest.
Team groupingGroup A: February 14-17, ended
G2, VP, N**I, Faze, Koi, Amkal, SAW, and Eternal Fire advance to Copenhagen Major
9pandas, fnatic, BB fell into the play-offs
Group B:
FormatGroup B: February 19-22
16 teams competed in the Swiss round, and the top 8 teams with 3 wins qualified directly.
The bottom 5 teams with 0 wins, 3 defeats, 1 win and 3 losses are directly out of the tournament.
The three teams with two wins and three defeats will advance to the play-offs.
Except for the promotion and knockout rounds, which are BO3, the rest of the matches are BO1.
Rounds 3 to 5 are decided by the Buchertz coefficient.
Play-offs: 23-24 February
Six teams from Groups A and B, with 2 wins and 3 defeats, will compete in the final battle, with only one winner advancing to the Copenhagen Major.
About the promotion groupPGL officials emphasized that all 17 teams that advance from the European RRR will be ranked according to Valve's regional rankings to determine which stage of the Major tournament to advance. The latest rankings will be announced after March 4, and the same process applies to the five teams that have been promoted from the Americas and the two teams from the Asia region.
Therefore, even if it is a 3-0 or 3-2 promotion, it is still uncertain whether they will advance to the knockout round (top 8 teams) or the opening round (9th-24th) of the Copenhagen Major.
Day 4 of the battleRound 5:
Amkal defeated 9pandas 2-1 to advance to the Copenhagen Major with a record of 3 wins and 2 losses
In the first half, the two teams fought to 6 draws, and D1ledez killed all sides on the side, and 9pandas set off an offensive frenzy to win Figure 1 7-0. Coming to the overpass, Amkal held 8 points on the defensive side, and although the Pandas chased consecutive points after changing sides, they narrowly won by two points thanks to the play of Forester, Krad and Tr**is. Forester continued to carry on the decisive figure, Amkal scored seven points on the underdog offense, and although the Pandas won the pistol game to take a 9-8 lead, Amkal's iron-blooded defense in the long gun game ended the game with five consecutive games, and 9pandas fell into the play-offs.
SAW crushed FNATIC 2-0, and Portugal reached the major for the first time with a 3-2 record!
Vertigo's one-man story shined as Portugal scored seven points in the half. After switching sides and winning the pistol game, Fnatic has been playing more and more urgently, and the more abstract the play, Ewjerkz is named one by one in the punching bag, and Saw scored 6 points in a row to win Figure 1.
The default Fnatic on Overpass is full of bugs, Story continues to steal people everywhere, and the 31-year-old veteran Roman once turned into an undead turret 11-0. On the other hand, FNATIC pulled all the players, especially Bodyy's half-time data was 0-12, and SAW directly pushed the opponent 12-0 in the first half. Switching sides, bodyy finally opened, and although Fnatic chased 4 points, he finally fell into the play-offs without any suspense.
Eternal Fire beat BB 2-0 and advanced to the Copenhagen Major with a 3-2 record!
On the mirage, the Turkish team interpreted muscle CS and BEST CS, and started the game 7-0 with unreasonable marksmanship. Relying on S1ren's single-game 4-kill individual play BB to get the first point, but BB then played A or B hesitantly and was surrounded and suppressed, and the Turkish team led 10-2 at halftime. Switching sides, Zorte's pistol 3 kills helped BB hit a wave of 5-2 to chase down to 7-12. In the endgame, Xantares made a hero AK and Woxic won the endgame to win Figure 1.
The Turkish team is still in hot form when it comes to Vertigo, Woxic and Wicadia take turns to play their might, and EF can score points whenever they return to defense. BB jumped off the building, made constant mistakes, and scored only 1 point in the half-time attack. After switching sides, BB has collapsed, and the Turkish team easily beat the opponent to advance. BB fell into the play-offs, which were brutal 6-in-1, good luck to them.
European RMR Group A Team Rankings:
Among the teams that advanced to the Copenhagen Major from Group A, the three teams of KOI, SAW, and AMKAL were probably not expected by many people. And falcons and nip are directly out, and it is estimated that more people did not expect it.
