Zhang Zheng, alternate member of the Central Committee, took up his new post

The latest information in the "Ministry Leadership" column of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism shows thatZhang Zheng is currently an alternate member of the 20th ** Communist Party of China, deputy secretary of the party group and vice minister of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

Previously, Zhang Zheng served as a member of the Standing Committee of the Hebei Provincial Party Committee and Minister of the Propaganda Department.

According to the public resume, Zhang Zheng, male, Han nationality, born in April 1966, on-the-job graduate degree, doctorate degree in literature, senior editor, and middle school member.

In July 1989, Zhang Zheng entered the ** TV station and served as an announcer and program host for 14 years, hosting columns such as "Zhengda Variety Show" and "Friends", and also hosted many large-scale theatrical evenings.

In November 2003, Zhang Zheng was appointed as the deputy head of the China Broadcasting Art Troupe. In March 2006, he was appointed as the deputy director of the China Performance Management Center, and in June 2007, he was appointed as the director.

During this period, Zhang Zheng studied at the Department of Economics and Management of Chinese University and Beijing Broadcasting Institute majoring in radio and television art, and obtained a master's degree and a doctorate.

In August 2008, Zhang Zheng was appointed as a member of the leading party group and assistant to the chairman of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, and in December of the following year, he was appointed deputy secretary of the Altay Prefectural Party Committee, with the rank of director.

In February 2012, Zhang Zheng took up his new post across the province and served as deputy secretary of the Tongren Municipal Party Committee of Guizhou Province, five months later as deputy secretary of the Qianxinan Prefecture Party Committee, and in January 2013, he was appointed as the secretary of the Qianxinan Prefecture Party Committee.

In June 2017, Zhang Zheng was transferred to the editor-in-chief of Guangming ** Society, and in March 2021, he was appointed as a member of the Standing Committee of the Hebei Provincial Party Committee and Minister of the Propaganda Department.
