In the middle of the night, Bohai Bay is quietly like a dream. Between the vast sky and the sea, the 121 oil production platforms dotted around are brightly lit, accompanied by the roar of the roaring machine and the sound of the waves, and the oil and gas are continuously sent to the shore through pipelines.
At about 10 o'clock on January 25, after the temporary safety training at sea, the reporter put on work clothes and helmets as required, followed the shift oil production workers to take a boat for about 40 minutes, and boarded the No. 3 platform of the center of the offshore oil production plant of Shengli Oilfield. The platform stands majestically more than 30 meters above the sea, and as soon as the reporter got off the boat, he realized that the breeze on the shore quietly turned into a gale.

The platform is located in a sea area with a water depth of 13 meters and more than 10 nautical miles offshore, with the functions of oil, gas and water treatment and automatic whole-process control, centralized reception and treatment of incoming fluids from the surrounding well groups, and providing power and water injection for the well group platform.
Qiang Lele, manager of the Haisi oil production management area of the offshore oil production plant, who was on the platform in shifts that day, said that they managed 29 oil production platforms in the surrounding area, with a total of 276 oil wells and 141 water wells. Treat incoming liquid 3 per day10,000 cubic meters, with an average daily conveyance of 4,400 tons**.
Qiang Lele, a native of Shaanxi Province who graduated from university in 2010, went out to the offshore platform for the first time in October of that year and stayed for 25 days. "Graduated from the petroleum college, studied geological engineering, the university song is "I dedicate oil to the motherland", to the oil field can better reflect its own value. He confessed.
The platform is technology-intensive, complex and automated, and since it runs entirely on electricity, oil producers are most concerned about grid fluctuations. On the morning of January 16 this year, strong winds caused the power grid to stop, and the two largest displacement pumps stopped, and they restarted within five minutes to avoid leaking tanks, Qiang Lele said. "The closed export platform is indeed advanced, but it is also a test for employees, and it must be efficient to deal with emergencies. He said.
The No. 3 platform of the center implements a 15-day shift operation mode, with about 35 employees working in shifts for 24 hours per shift. At half past seven o'clock in the evening, Qiang Lele held an after-class meeting to understand the production and operation of the day, and arranged the work arrangements and precautions for the next day.

Tomorrow, the design institute and the construction party will confirm a major renovation plan, and large-scale construction will begin after the Spring Festival. Qiang Lele said that on the shore, he can sleep at 10 o'clock at night, but he has never slept before 12 o'clock at sea, and he is always tightening the string of safe production. "With safety, we can talk about production and profit. ”
In 2023, a total of 16510,000 tons** and 39.2 million cubic meters of natural gas. Since it was put into operation in 2013, the platform has accumulated 3,691 days of safe production, exported more than 14 million tons, and created economic benefits of more than 14 billion yuan.
Walking on the No. 3 platform in the center, there is no common "kowtow machine" or belt pumping unit on land, and there is no trace of oil and gas.
Offshore is the main position for increasing reserves and production in Shengli Oilfield, and it is also the top priority of safety and environmental protection. Slogans such as "safety and environmental protection at sea are greater than the sky" and "don't let a drop of oil enter the sea" are set up on the way up and down the platform, and passers-by can see it. At present, platform process systems such as the No. 3 platform of the center are all set with abnormal alarms and one-key shutdown, so as to complete emergency treatment such as oil well shut-in and oil spill within 1 minute.
Sun Ningfeng, who is originally from Liaoning Province, is in charge of mechanical and electrical instrumentation, and has been working at the offshore oil production plant since 1994 and has witnessed the progress of offshore oil production: "Now, our system can monitor pipeline pressure changes in real time, realize leak warning, and at the same time use the oil spill radar on the platform to ensure that emergency situations are detected and dealt with in time." ”

Life at sea is hard and boring, and it is especially important to care for your employees. There are three meals a day, lunch and dinner each have five or six dishes with meat and vegetarian combinations, and the platform is also equipped with a gym.
Sun Ningfeng said: Living and production conditions have been greatly improved. I used to cook by myself, now I have a professional chef, and the platform of more than 15 people is also equipped with a doctor, and I had a sudden appendicitis the year before last, but fortunately, the doctor diagnosed and treated it in time and rushed back to the shore for surgery.
Zhang Yi, a native of Henan, came to work in Shengli Oilfield after obtaining a master's degree in 2021. Zhang Yi remembers the first time he came to the offshore platform, and the sea breeze was biting that day, and it hurt very much on his face. Because he has always dreamed of becoming an engineer, Zhang Yi does not feel bitter and tired.
At midnight, there were still 3 people on duty in the central control room of the platform.

At half past five in the morning of January 26, the sea sparkled under the moonlight. Qiang Lele set off to return to the factory to attend the meeting, and the reporter took a boat to accompany him. "Woke up two or three times in 5 hours. Qiang Lele said.
Overlooking the sea, watching the sea and listening to the waves, the vast ocean contains infinite hope, and the Shengli Oilfield is speeding up the development of oil resources in the sea of thousands of miles around the energy rice bowl.
Looking back at the platform, less than 20,000 square meters of the platform, most of them are the location of the machine, there is little space for the actual activities of employees, and the 1,200 square meter living platform gathers people from all over the world, committed to contributing oil to the country.
On the morning of the same day, news came from the staff congress of the offshore oil production plant: in 2024, the offshore oil production plant will usher in 30 years of construction, and it has increased production for 18 consecutive years, with a cumulative production of more than 73 million tons.
